It's October, which means love is in the air!
....Not really. Most people are getting ready for Halloween, a time to scare the living crap out of other people.
However, October is the time in which Poncho Pals first came into this world, eager to greet the people of this world. These misunderstood creatures need to be shown some love!

The magical energies surrounding Halloween makes it the perfect time for romance; Halloween's spooky, Poncho Pals are spooky. It's clearly a perfect fit. And it's time for your Poncho Pal to get prepared to find their perfect fit.

Whether it comes from the bliss of a romantic pursuit, or the equally fulfilling love that a great friendship holds, love is wonderful, and your Poncho Pal wants to find some. In a strange new world with other Pals it's never met, it's got to surely do it's best to be attractive. How does YOUR Poncho Pal attract someone special?

prompt answer; A mate... A mate? What is... A mate? Aphid is so bad at romance, it isn't that he doesn't try! It's that sometimes he doesn't know how to word himself, or how to approach others. He's got 5 eyes, but only one brain, yanno? The poor boy just doesn't know how to articulate himself and often comes off a little rude, or stumbles over himself (and those large Jaws of his) and has his crush walking away.

Hes getting better at the idea of love though! While Aphid really is a liner type, that doesn't mean he doesn't long for the comfort of another. He just wants cuddles! The warmth, others arms around him. He tries to convey how cuddly he is, but sometimes his eyes and Jaws make him scary - which is just plain silly, considering that everybody has some rather scary traits, okay? But maybe some people just don't like guys with lots of eyes, or the fear that he might take their neck off if he kisses them...

So instead of trying to talk or to interact in any way, as Aphid has learned that these things aren't working, he's started to just make little necklaces and various pieces of jewelry for his crushes. He can give the gifts to his crush without having to speak, and hopefully they'll find it endearing and not just creepy...

prompt answer; George is an extravagant boi and this carries over to his wooing. He starts by having his servants give many gifts to the pal he has his eyes on. These gifts include chocolates, flowers, portraits of himself, cosplay supplies, bags of cheese balls, and sometimes straight up cash.
After the first phase (which lasts about three days) he has his target summoned to participate in a feast. He wears his fanciest poncho, which he decorates with glitter in advance. He is confident about his chances when he sees them show up, but is still shy about talking to them, so he keeps one on one interaction to a minimum. During this time, he also takes note of their manners and table etiquette to ensure that he got a “good catch”.
After the feast (assuming they haven’t walked out on him) he attempts to get to know them one on one. He takes them to the balcony to look at the stars, which he loves, and hopes they can appreciate the beauty of these celestial wonders as well. He makes small talk with them, and delivers many cheesy but heartfelt compliments towards them. He may start to become flustered and hide in his poncho, as for as mighty and extravagant he acts, he’s actually really not used to personal talks. Later on in the night, George will use the power of interpretive dance to express his feelings for the pal.
If the partner is charmed by George for whatever reason, whether it be the material gifts, his fabulous outfit, or just his sheer bean-itude, they may choose to form a romantic bond with him. It is of course possible for him to fail to charm them, and they may choose to just be friends, which is also great for him. If they do form a bond with him, he will provide a guest room in the castle to stay in if they wish, and will continue to send them periodic gifts to show his affection. In addition, to strengthen their bond, he will invite his newly found partner to participate in friendly activities such as reading together, going on picnics, or seeing a performance.

Gwydion’s go to when attracting a mate is magic. He will often pull a rose out of the pal’s ear and give it to them. He continues to do small magic tricks to gain the pal’s affection until he is sure that they are interested in him. Once this happens, Gwydion asks them if they would like to go star gazing.

Gwydion has always been fascinated by the stars, however this can be a problem when he asks his potential mate to go star gazing. He can become annoying by constantly pointing out the constellations. If the pal has still put up with him, then Gwydion moves onto the final most important step.

This is a very important step, because Gwydion has to know if they like to cuddle. It is one of his favorite things to do. So while they are looking at the stars, Gwydion will share his cape to use it as a blanket. When this happens, he will be able to cuddle and see how they respond.

Doctor Jones attracts mates the same way as James Bond. By preforming spy tricks and impossible neurosegon feats. He mainly attracts cats and angelic daemons. He attracts the angelic daemons by preforming daring life risking feats in neuroscience and spying.


Once Doctor Jones finds a mate, he goes through 2 phases. The first phase envoles him performing amazing feats that are full of danger. He usually gets them interested by preforming major surgeries and rescuing people from a dangerous situation with a time limit. The cats get interested in him because while he is a wolf, he acts much like a cat. He gets angelic deamons interested in him because of his loyal but daring personality.

The last phase envolves him to temporarily bond with his mate. He does this by constaly being near and with them. They stay bonded for 1-4 hours and when they unbond the mystery orb would of transformed into a beautiful and magestic offspring. It happens very rarely but if he meets a angelic daemon cat, they would bond instantly and stay that way for a day rather than a few hours. When bonded, the mystery orb acts like a coccon and takes part of both of them and combines them into 1 offspring. The orb only works like this for Doctor Jones as every poncho pal has a different reaction with the mystery orb and how they mate. It just depends on how that poncho pal acts.

prompt answer; Rubik popped into an unsuspecting library, closing his transport portal behind him. It was mating season and everybody was going crazy. Not him though! Nope, he didn’t care about that stuff. He’d much rather cause mischief and have fun. Or so he thought....

As he walked past a shelf in romance novels, looking for some infatuated lovers to taunt, he stopped in sudden awe. Standing infront of the shelf was the loveliest poncho pal he’d ever seen. And he didn’t know why but he suddenly wanted to go talk to her. That hadn’t happened before and talking was certainly not one of his strongest skills.

Deciding to try and attract her attention, he opened a portal and popped infront if her, strutting past in an attempt to impress her. It didn’t work. The other poncho pal didn’t even give him a second glance. So he tried something else, this time purposely tripping as he walked past. She noticed then and shook her head at his pathetic attempts to woo her. And then left the building. He made to follow her but the librarian suddenly did something that had him m floating in the air. Before he knew it, he had been unceremoniously tossed from the building. He had failed this time, but perhaps the future would hold more chances for love.
