Irenx's first pin is from a gift shop that he got on his very first family vacation
to hawaii as well! He got to visit the volcano Mount Kilauea while he was out
there visiting family.

His first pin:

Young Oakley's brows furrowed in frustration as the clock ticked with every passing second, and as the host tapped his foot impatiently. His bright blue eyes darted every which way around the unfinished sudoku page, and sweat dripped down the back of his neck as he scribbled hastily onto the paper before erasing furiously, growing more and more nervous. His family was on a vacation in Tokyo, and he had just gotten to the finals of the mini-sudoku tournament. His eyes glanced at the other young kalons scribbling away, and he gulped and looked back out into the small crowd, his parents looking nervous but proud. "Twenty seconds left, contestants," said the host, and his breathing sped as he coutned numbers in his head. Six... nine.... I got it! He lit up at his quick discovery and wrote like his life depended on it. Just as he wrote his last number, the host spoke up. "Contestants, hand in your slips!" He gave his in, feeling anxious. After a tense few moments, he recieved a card announcing the winner. "Now, ladies and gents, I'd like to congratulate Oakley Scamander, the winner of the annual sudoku tournament of Tokyo!"

He recieved this pin when he was on a trip in Turkey. His car had broken down in the middle of a small city, and although he was on the verge of a freak out, he remained calm. A kind man had been able to help him repair his engine, in exchange for transporting his great grandmother to her own home. Oakley agreed, and soon he was on his way to the city. Small talk was limited, however when the old woman had left the car, she had left him with this Turkish eye pin and a very important piece of advice. He contemplated bringing it back to her and see if she wanted it back, but once he drove into the city to look for her, she had disappeared.

His most recent pin:

This "Lest We Forget" pin was given to him by his grandfather, whom he visited on a trip to Italy. His grandfather had served in World War II, and had many stories to tell him. His grandfather had moved to a quiet town in Italy for some final peace and quiet as he grew older, and Oakley was thrilled to see him and learn everything about the time in which his grandfather lived in. Though the stories he heard were mostly grim, it taught him many valuable lessons and gave him a powerful glimpse to the past.
