Prompt Answer: In autumn, just when it begins to get chilly, Rune creates colorful masks. Since he was born, he's always had a fondness for art, even in the most unusual circumstances. He'd often be found using his paws to shape jewelry from gleaming gemstones or trying to find out whether he could paint with his nose. The masks he makes for Halloween are quite the representation of his progress as a young artist. While they are conventional for scaring the wits from his friends, Rune prefers not to appear as an apparent apparition. Instead, the masks he makes capture perfectly his interests, whether those be frightening serpents, carefree kittens, or mysterious foxes with dark eyes made of twilight.
Rune also uses these masks as an outlet. Sometimes, it becomes difficult to be who he truly feels he is, but putting on a mask changes that. He becomes who he wants to be with no guilt or shame, because he becomes the mask.
Rune often implements his favorite colors into the masks' designs, the orange, red, and yellow autumn hues. The masks themselves are made of whatever Rune can get his hands on, usually fabric or papier-mâché. He gives his old masks that don't fit anymore to other kalons who are excited to dress up for the Halloween holiday, but the ones that are very special to him are hung up on his wall, or kept in a safe, dusty chest under his bed.
