"W-where are we going, father?" The young kalon asked.
"Somewhere magical," He said. "A place you'll never forget. Emmett's father had taken him on a camping trip, far away from the busy streets and city that he lived in. Emmett had never fully experienced wildlife and stars before, as the bright lights from Manhattan blocked the view. Now, he was in Montana, miles away from urban civilization.
"W-what's that?" The kalon asked as he pointed to a large bird that was perched into a tree. "W-will it eat me?"
"That's a bald eagle," Emmet's father said. "They don't like the taste of little kalons like you, don't worry."
"A-are we almost there?" The kalon asked apprehensively.
"Almost." The father replied. They walked through some bushes and Emmett gasped.
"Whoa!" He exclaimed. "What are they?" Emmett skipped ahead of his father and observed the glowing creatures.
"They're called fireflies." He said and sat down on top of a tree stump.
"Fireflies," Emmett whispered as one of the bugs flew onto his nose. He closed his eyes and smiled.
I wish this moment could last forever... He thought. Then, he stood up and played in the field among the fireflies.

Story: The wind was whipping through her hair. Rain was thundering down and lightning strikes were threatening to end her life. Yet she pressed on. Her feet were soaking through the boots and her hands were numb from the cold. She continued on still. Around her, trees were falling and power lines were sizzling. Alira was beyond the realm of logic now. Lovesick, she raced through the fields as best she could, searching for her fiance.

The thunder rumbled and the wind was picking up. There were hollers from a house, probably yelling for her to come inside. But they promised they would die together. Searching for the signature neon blue hair, Alira ran through the endless fields. Her heart was filled with rage. Why did they have to fight? Why did the storm have to come now? But really, she was worried. They had promised to spend their lives together and they adored each other. They were going to be the first gay couple the country had known. They were fighters and they had won. Finally spotting a glimmer of neon blue, Alira rushed over. There she was, the woman she'd pledged to love for eternity. Exhausted and delirious, Alira just hugged the body, not knowing if it was a corpse or not. And there was a hug back. It was a horrible day but just that hug, wanted Alira to relive the day over and over.

Story: Fyedka, Haunani, and I were chasing each other in the forest. “Catch me if you can” I hollered as the two lunged at me. “Hey, not fair” cried Haunani as I hid behind a rock. “Come out where ever you are” chanted Fyedka. We were playing chase in the forest that we had just moved into. We had travelled to this area where are family was settling in. We had been so busy we never really got the chance to play and explore. Plus I was eager to seek revenge on them for throwing a flopping fish on me. Where did they get a fat fish, I have no clue. It was probably the strangest thing to wake up to. AGHHH THERE’S A FAT FISH AGGHHHHH! I remember bolting up from my slumbers to see the poor fish trying to get into water. I shuddered at the memory, plus it made me smell like fish which by the way is not fun. Hmmm... I needed a plan and fast. While Haunani and them were splitting up to search for me I crept away from the rock and slipped through quietly and found a patch of berries. Oh yes I thought as I began to gather some in my arms. “Here comes revenge of the fat fish” I murmured evilly. I slowly climbed up the nearest tree and perched there waiting for my victims to come. “Heehee” I snickered as they came closer and closer... “ATTACK OF THE BLUEBERRIES” I shrieked throwing the berries I gathered at them. The looks on there faces were priceless, I wish I could have been in that moment forever. The terror in their eyes as they looked up before realizing what had happened. They were covered in mashed blueberries before I jumped and crashed into them. We were laughing and rolling around. If I could I would definitely wish that moment could last forever.
