Story: It was a dark and dreary night, thick fog covered the waning moon. Cheerios was just bedding down after a long trail through the near by woods, when suddenly, a high whinny and the sound of galloping hooves filled the night. Cheerios laid back his ears in fright and steeped back. The eery sound was coming closer, and Cheerios, being who he was, thought the worst of it. It had to be a ghost, or maybe a skeleton horse! He thought as no horse in his right mind would be out at a night like tonight, it was all hallows eve after all. Just then, a chestnut stallion with apricot splotches bust in the barn. "What is it, Apricot?" Cheerio said apprehensively. "I.. It.. Was... Was a shadow-hoirse!" Apricot stuttered. Cheerio jerked back as Apricot said what he saw. "Did you really see one? They arn't even real!"
"I swear I did! It was black as night with white stripes going around it, almost as if it was cracking apart. It also had glowing red eyes and fangs with horns and a almost a haze around it."
Now Cheerios was quite scared, for he had thought he had seen the same thing a few days ago. He glanced around fearfully. Apricot was still shaking from his fright.

Meanwhile.... Runii laughed uncontrollably from the forest as Apricot galloped away, neiging in fear. That I'll show him, he thought. He snorted again. Halloween was his favorite time. As he turned to go back to the barn, something flashed out of the corner of his eye, he whipped around, trying to see what it was. He heard a whinny behind him. He slowly turned and came face-to-face with a shadowy horse with glowing red eyes.
