what is your favorite urban legend/or cryptid, and why?:
My favorite urban legend would have to be the kelpie. I find it such an dark and whimsical idea of a shape-shifter luring in it's victums only to kill them,but not only that the disturbing legends that go with it and "accounts" from people who have encountered said creature are so detailed that it feels like a book.
It's both unsettling and whimsical i love it so.

what is your favorite urban legend/or cryptid, and why?:
my favorite urban legend is that of a skinwalker because i find it quite cool to imagine something being able to look just like you and they could completely copy your voice.. i love to listen to stories about them because they are said to be as tall as 6'10 or taller and they are said to have been humans that where turned into a skinwalker by another human.. skinwalkers can copy the form of any animal but it will look slightly off.. an example is like a coyote but is extremely skinny and with sunken in eyes.. skinwalkers are also said to have a very terrifying scream.. they are said to sound like a woman x coyote howl..

I really love the scp foundation and all that surrounds it ! there's so much to discover there, and honestly I've spent way more time than I'm willing to admit on it omg ?? the idea of secret organizations has always interested me, and things like these led to a whole "secret society" thing with my friends back when I was in fourth grade ! I'm not entirely sure if this counts as an urban legend in itself, but it's full of things that qualify !

what is your favorite urban legend/or cryptid, and why?:
big foot would have to be my favorite cryptid. there's just something terrifying about it - like just how probable it is. unlike many other urban legends, it seems to be one of the more believable ones. the lore surrounding it is very extensive, people report seeing ape like creatures just a bit bigger than the stature of an average human male that are covered with fur from head to toe all over the nation. of course, leaving big foot prints. its described as having a deep bellow and being able to jump far distances. it doesnt sound like something you'd want to encounter unless you were a big foot hunter. unlike the chupacabra or the jersey devil, its not so outlandish to think that, yeah, maybe there is a giant man like creature out there. what is your favorite urban legend/or cryptid, and why?: my favorite urban legend/cryptid is the loch ness monster,because even though nessie probably doesn't exist, the entire concept of a noodle-looking lizard-dragon-dinosaur living at the bottom of a scottish lake is just such a intriguing idea,and even though nessie probably doesn't exist,and all the ''proof'' can be explained,its still fun to entertain the thought.

what is your favorite urban legend/or cryptid, and why?: the kraken!! when i was really little, my dad told me about it to scare me. it really made me scared of ships because i legitimately thought it would attack me when i was on one. when i got older, i became super interested in it because it was the only one i really knew about. it's my favorite because it reminds me of a super scary octopus, and they're my favorite sea animal! also,,, i'm still afraid of ships today, not sure if it's because of the kraken or what, haha.

My favorite cryptid is Dobhar-chu, which is an otter/fish like monster sighted in Ireland. I love otters, and I love the concept of this creature, a monster that is based off of something cute and cuddly. It reminds me of a baby dragon.

whew!! this was an incredibly funny story to read, it was just, hahah, i found it absolutely hilarious!
basically, this guy who was the parking attendant for a zoo worked there for about 25 years, and he
just mysteriously popped up all of the sudden. The people assumed he was hire by the zoo, or the council,
but then he just disappeared just like he appeared in the first place, and it turned out he was just a
random guy! apparently, neither the zoo or the council had employed him, but both forces assumed that
he was employed by the other! he must've earned millions though,, lmao. thanks! <3
