Name - Spoopy
Gender - Male
Pun - I know a skele-ton of skeleton puns.
Spoopy loves Halloween because he gets candy. He loves trick-or-treating, and goes to as many houses as possible. But, he HATES spooky stuff. He is scared of everything. He doesn't watch horror movies, or put up scary decorations. He puts on Halloween movies like Hotel Transylvania, or the Halloween episode of Charlie Brown. He puts up cute Halloween decorations, like tiny pumpkins, stuffed bats, and little spiders he makes out of pipe cleaners. He makes about a hundred of those every Halloween. After he takes the decorations down, he puts all of the spiders into a box of their own. He adds to the box every year, which is why there are hundreds of pipe cleaner spiders in the house every Halloween.
Spoopy likes to carve pumpkins with his owner. He watched her carve one on his first Halloween, and she let him help. She took his fingers and wrapped them around the tools, then guided his paws over the pumpkin. That pumpkin ended up becoming a bat. Now, every year, Spoopy carves a small pumpkin. Last year, he was able to carve it by himself.
Spoopy also likes roasted pumpkin seeds. When he and his owner scoop out the inside of the pumpkins, they put the pulp in a bowl. Before they start carving, they separate the meat and the pulp from the seeds. The seeds go in the oven immediately, while the pulp is put into a pie. After the seeds come out, the pie is put in, and the carving starts.
Even though Spoopy already looks like a skeleton, he still usually dresses up on Halloween. But never as anything scary. He makes his own costumes, so they are unique. Plus, Spoopy loves to make things. So he gets to have a lot of fun around Halloween. One Halloween, he made a pirate costume. This year, he is going as a dragon. When he and his owner get back from trick-or-treating, he usually is able to convince her to play a game with him. Usually this involves him grabbing the box and following her around with it, whining. She usually caves when he gives her the puppy dog eyes. He likes the Halloween version of Monopoly.
One time, when Spoopy and his owner got back from trick-or-treating, they found that their super secret candy stash had been infiltrated. Spoopy thought it was a monster. His owner thought it was a raccoon. It was a squirrel, which to Spoopy, was basically a monster. After Spoopy got off of the sofa (he jumped up on it when he saw the squirrel), he realized the candy had to be thrown away. That was pretty disappointing. Spoopy would eat the candy stash after he finished the candy he got from trick-or-treating. So his owner suggested making sweets instead. For a couple of hours, they were doing nothing but baking. The kitchen was covered in flour and sugar. They made cookies, cupcakes, and a large cake. Spoopy ended up abandoning his candy and just eating the sweets. He and his owner were up all night playing board games and eating cookies. So far, that is Spoopy's favorite Halloween memory. Except for the part with the raccoon. He really doesn't like raccoons.
