[Ember the Wolf]

Simas are cat/wolf creatures basically. Their paws resemble a wolves while their body structure
could resemble a cat. Simas are also known as 'Sword Mammels'. This name comes from their tail.
The tail is the most important part of a Sima's body. They resemble a sword most of all. They are
thick and fluffy at the base and when the go down the tail, it gets thinner then widens into two
tail guards like the guards on a sword. The jewel acts like the blade.

I have been saving this kid for the first snow of the year, and yesterday it snowed in my hometown.

Why don't they like the cold? Aspen used to absolutely adore the cold as a kit. He would play in the snow nearly every day. One day in middle school he had to walk home from the bus stop - neither parent was due home until dark - and he had forgotten his key. He lived in the middle of nowhere, sort of, and so there were no neighbors nearby he could stay with until his parents came home. This would have been all well and good as he would have been able to handle the cold maybe an hour, as it wasn't actually that cold. What he hadn't been expecting was a freak snowstorm. He got caught in a blizzard while waiting for his parents to come home and got some pretty bad frostbite. He's hated the cold ever since.

Why don't they like the cold?

Korus honestly doesn't like it when it's too cold OR too hot, but he especially dislikes the cold. For years, he couldn't figure out why, but the cold seemed to make him feel bitter and angry. He'd feel the chills and shiver, and react obscenely in response to his own body's actions.

One day, Korus was walking to his office. He worked from midday to late at night in a small office in town for a small company, doing sorting, paperwork and business related work. It wasn't exactly what he always wanted to do, but, well, it paid for the time being. He was saving up to go back to college - er, that's another story. Point of the matter was, he was walking in the wintertime - it was cold, snowy and dark. The cold bit at his face, and he pulled his hat down further over his face as he walked.

He was in a terrible mood, and again couldn't figure out why. After all, the rest of his day was fine. However, he WAS cozy and warm indoors...
Though, he suddenly heard a sound nearby. It sounded like children playing at first, which could've been expected being that there was a school nearby within the town, but after getting closer to the sounds Korus realized it was not a friendly instance.

Two older children were tormenting a younger child, who became lost when walking home. It was apparently their first day at the new school, and the older children didn't take well to the new kid. Korus ran over and broke up the conflict, and spoke to the young child. Once he realized they were lost, he immediately led them to a gas station which was very close by to use the phone. He waited with the child until his parents showed up to take him home, then continued to his office.

"I'm gonna be late..." He moaned. It was even colder than before. Still, he was glad to have helped out someone in need.... but, the situation stuck with him. It seemed familiar in a sense.

It was that instance that triggered a memory which Korus had long forgotten. A memory from his childhood which was fairly unpleasant. He'd become lost himself out exploring in the woods near his home, yet nobody was around to help him. This instance was in the wintertime, and it was very cold.

Little Korus searched for hours for a familiar sight, but the winds became strong and constantly blew snow into his face. He was terrified that he'd be lost forever. He was wrapped up tightly by the will of his overprotective mother, but he still felt the effects of the cold getting through to him. It wasn't too long before he was found, but he refused to play outside for some time after that.

He thought about the memory he'd regained quite a bit.
After figuring out that this was the root of his bitterness in the wintertime, it became easier for him to manage his reactions. He still dislikes the wintertime and coldness, but he can appreciate things about the time of year now more-so than before.

why don't they like the cold;; sickness. colin has always been extremely prone to it and whenever winter comes around, its absolutely awful. he has a terrible cough and a runny nose for months, and has never had a real cure for it. last year was particularly execrable though. it started on the first snow of winter..

colin arose to find the snow falling down in torrents outside of his window. two things immediately came to mind, the first being no school. the second though, was he knew what was coming- sickness. after slowly dragging himself out of bed, he padded out of his bedroom to the kitchen and pulled out the cold medicine. he quickly checked the expiration date, and was dismayed to find it had expired in the summer. resentfully pulling his coat, earmuffs, hat and scarf off their racks, he put them on and grabbed his car keys. grumbling to himself, he stepped outside into the freezing snow, which had already snowed at least half an inch. "better late than never."
he thought and trudged through the snow to reach his car. he swung the door open and climbed into his seat, turning the car on.
the car was freezing cold and he started to shiver. he then turned the heating on and drove out of his driveway. he knew what he was doing was absolutely stupid, but he did not want to suffer as badly as he did previous years. after spending about twenty minutes getting to the store when it should have only taken about ten, he stepped out again into the snow, locked his car and bolted into the store, desperately hoping he could get in and out as soon as possible so that he and his car would not get snowed in.
he raced to the medicine isle, found the cough medicine he wanted, and dashed to the cashier to check it out, only to find he had forgotten his credit card. realizing he could not check out the item, he left the store, hopped into his car, and realized his nose was running horribly. he spent the next thirty minutes getting home, without his medicine, cold, hungry and tired.

he was sick for the rest of the winter.

Why don't they like the cold? The feeling makes his paws freeze and feel like ice blocks and he gets a nasty cold with a terrible stuffy nose and headache! everytime he ends up somewhere cold he instantly pulls out the warm blankets starts up a fire and drinks anything warm! Thus for he also gets colds very often so he also indeed carries tissues around just incase huehue, but basically thats all good luck to everyone

They dont like getting there paws wet and hate it when they need to make a shelter and when food is scarce,he also hates when it gets really snowy and he cant go out and hunt
