When the war with the goblins began, Prince Kyne instated a draft for the army, and Donovan ended up being but one of the many Viscets who'd been drafted. This news had arrived at a very inconvenient time for them, as Donovan and his mate had just discovered they were expecting a Viscling soon. Needless to say, emotions were rampant and tension was high between them that night, and the following week was tough for both of them, even though Donovan did his utmost best to comfort her and assure her he'd be fine and that he knew she'd be an amazing mother. When it came time for Donovan to leave, he convinced himself that this was for the best, that this way he could protect his mate and their unborn Viscling. He devoted himself to training and to his duties, and having proved himself more than capable, quickly rose through the ranks. He's now one of the most respected military leaders, and is well known for his strict reputation. He still tells himself that this was the best way to protect his family, but he still harbors some resentment for the draft that took him from them. He regrets that he wasn't there for their child's first steps or first words, and he regrets that he can't be there to provide for them directly. Even though Donovan knows he's being ridiculous, part of him can't help but worry that the war will have changed him so much that when he returns, his mate won't recognize him anymore, or worse, he'll find she's already moved on to someone else. Haunted by these fears, Donovan often becomes gruff and sour, and it's not uncommon for him to snap at the troops. The orders he gives may seem extreme and harsh to his troops, and he has little to no patience for set-backs and delays. Donovan just wants to capture Mika and the other rebels quickly and finally drive off the goblins. For him, the sooner this whole thing ends, the better.

one regret they have; Vex's one regret In life is being a school dropout and running away from home after "the incident". But now due to his horrible reputation, people are afraid of him and think that he still is up to sketchy stuff around the neighborhood when in reality he just wants to chill with other goths (and pastel goths). If anything he wishes he can go back in time and tell himself never to confess about his love... The barbwire necklace he wears is a permanent reminder of what he did to his one and only crush and the eye on his necklace is also a reminder of how no one can un-see what he did, especially himself. Vex still has nightmares about what happened, he just wants them to stop so badly, but he doesn't have a steady income so he can't really buy the medication he needs to help him sleep at night. He tries out for job applications all the time so he could try for a job, yet no one has hired him. He is currently living in a hotel as a room mate, Vex really does feel sorry that he can't take care of himself but his friend Sucre Amor is very empathetic and understanding so she agreed to letting him stay and constantly helps him look for a job.

one regret they have; Trouble's biggest regret is pushing her friends and family away.
---When she was young, around 10, there was a death in the family. Trouble was very close to the one they lost, leading her to push everyone away. At first it was just about needing space and time to heal, but it got worse when the rest of her family got clingy as they went through the loss. She ran off, needing room to breathe. The streets changed her and she never went back.
---It was several years before Trouble met Abby and it took nearly another year for her to let the brightly accented Viscet hang out for more than a few minutes at a time. Eventually, the two grew close and now Trouble would almost even consider Abby a sister and is very grateful for knowing her. Trouble finds it humorous that Abby is constantly trying to "turn her 'carrier' around" and often plays along for a day or two, mimicking Abby's personality and behaviors when they hang out but she immediately "reverts" back to her wild self.
---At least once every six months, Abby tries to get Trouble to reach to her family or even her old friends, but Trouble will always flat-out refuse. Even though this idea seems to put Trouble in a bad mood every single time, Abby refuses to give up and knows whatever Trouble may say on or about the subject is not meant. Not wholeheartedly, at least.
---Now, although she barely remembers it, deep down she does regret leaving . She will never say so aloud, or even admit it herself.

She never tells anyone her real name, not even her best and only real friend, Abby.
---Although Trouble's appearance is very similar to Abby's, in the way that they both look like tough bad girls, the two could not be more different otherwise - Abby is very outgoing and helpful, really a total ray of sunshine! Trouble, on the other hand, is very true to her appearance. You don't want to get on her bad side, it can end very badly. For you.
---While it's at the top of her list, graffiti is not her only passion. Trouble thoroughly enjoys causing mayhem in general - tagging, breaking & entering, being overly obnoxious, light thieving(like candy bars, clearance clothes, etc), you name it! So long as she gets noticed then gets away with it, she's happy. It's no fun getting away with something if no one knows you did it, right?

her one and only regret:

While she is arrogant and rude and often has no regrets one thing haunts her to this day. She was left behind by her parents when she had just learned to survive properly. They were fleeing from something unknown to Pandora, and she still doesn't know or understand why they dropped everything and left. When she began to believe that they left because of her, she had a new wave of anger, white hot rage coursing through her veins. She then moved on to hunt them down, confront them, maybe even break down into tears. She struggled for years to find them, which during that time she had filtered her anger and sadness into becoming more of a goth. One day she woke up and the anger seemed to have dispersed, disappearing into thin air. Thats when she heard news her parents were a short journey away. She didn't go to them though, instead she headed the opposite direction, to a town she had come to love when she searched for her parents. What she didn't realize at the time that the anger and depression would always be creepy at the edge of her mind, in her sleep and in her thoughts. She regrets not at least going to look at them, even a glimpse. To yell at them or cry or beg for answers sounded even more appealing to her each day. The stronger part of her brain keeps her put in her little town, where she can be herself without the worrying or doubt. Part of her still wonders, if she went to that town, on that journey to see her parents..... what would be different?

She lives in this old abandoned two story building, discovered and restored by herself. There she discovered her love of painting and sketching, even a little graffiti. While most of her art pieces are somewhat dark, you'd be surprised to find they speak louder than words and she has been known to do the odd bright happy art. She likes staring out the windows, drawing the people on the streets. Her work is strung up all over the building, with the outside being covered in spray painted pictures. Sometimes she lets people in to see her latest artwork.

Lainey has always regretted how much she just doesn't care. She's come to realize that it's both a blessing and a curse. It's always good not to pay any mind to the badmouth comments and insults but what about friends and family? Lainey has never been able to feel any kind of caring emotion ever since she lost her parents in a horrifying train wreck. After that, she decided that she didn't want to get comfortable with anyone and then lose them. She's completely cut off her emotions and portrays the persona she is known for now. She's the trickster; cunning and antisocial, never caring whether she hurts someone emotionally. She'd never physically harm anyone and would never want to. Violence isn't her thing, she's more of a "say it how you mean it" type. By the time she figured out that she hated the decision she made in cutting off her emotions, it was too late. She was stuck like that. Her emotions have died and she wasn't able to get them back. She was incapable of feeling any kind of care towards anyone or anything. She felt lonely ever since then. She feels like the Tin Man, like she has no heart. Lainey's a bully and though she tries her best to change that, she can't. She's given up, thinking that it isn't worth the countless hours and energy she takes to try to care. She accepts it. She accepts the names she's called, the terrified faces of those she's hurt and will continue to hurt, the adults who look upon her with pity and remorse for they can't even begin to imagine what she's been through. Maybe, just maybe, there will be someone who will come along and be able to change Lainey's whole world. (298/600)
