His relationship with Satine started at a very young age. Born and raised on the same equestrian centre, both of them were inseparable since they were the only foals at the centre for the first couple of weeks of their young lives. This gave them a chance to build a bond through playing chase, sparring and just generally horsing around. Their dams shared a paddock as well as with a few other expecting mares, however, even as more foals arrived. The pair seemed to get bored of them but still would allow the other to join in their antics. As they grew, so did their bond, however, both Satine and Desperado were soon to come of age and eventually would split to their different ways. It was unclear as to whether they were aware of this, however, the as the day drew closer both became even closer. Although they had their differences, the bond between them was strong. Eventually, they parted ways and remained that way for several years.

Desperado developed a strong and very cold character. Often getting into trouble with his brawn over brain mentality. Despite this, he did keep some of his sweet attitude even if its hidden under his tough exterior. Desperado was shifted from place to place frequently and as a result has become detached from people all together. After several years, it seemed fate deemed it long enough, that Desperado was reunited with Satine. In the beginning it was as if nothing had happened. They spent time together and almost began to relive their foal years. As time when by, Satine and Desperado's differences had grown greatly in their time apart. The aggression and agitation shown towards each other was subtle but grew with the more time they spent together. Their personalities had changed and developed in such different ways that they could only spend short spurts of time with each other. Eventually, they could not be in adjacent paddocks without snapping and become frustrated in each other presence. The usually docile and patient Satine became more aggressive towards Desperado than he was to her.

In the end, the two just couldn't remain near one another. Its a shame considering how close they were as young foals, however, changing circumstances have meant that the pair have developed separately... so much so that they can't even get along. Its still clear that they are saddened by the sudden change and the loss of a relationship that meant so much to them when they were younger. Time goes on and relationships build and crumble but the memories and the experiences shared will always remain.

Nova and Vigilante- partners in crime. They've always been close as two peas in a pod. They were best buddies. Every time one of hem would do something bad, he other would do the same. Just like they still do! When Nova knocks down a saddle, so does Vigilante. It doesn't help of course, that their stalls are right across from each other. They're always causing trouble in the barn- who knows what they'll do next? While Vigilante is normally the troublemaker, he's super sweet and friendly. Nova can be a bit shy, so he really brings her out of her shell. Nova's shyness allows Vigilante to be a lot more social, while she remains quiet. They're the best of friends- although Vigilante secretly has a small crush on Nova. Oddly enough, Nova also has a crush on Vigilante. Who knows- maybe one day they'll become mates?

congrats! this was a pleasure to read. it's a shame it didn't work out for them in the end, but i love how you wrapped it up at the end.
