The sun rose, lighting up the horizon. The silhouette of many bodies appeared. In there was a silhouette that was different from the others. It had a single horn, three tails and one extra ear on each side. That was the one who could either save or destroy the multiverse.
Kaelani stumbled out into the open, her mother purring gently before steadying her kit. "Now now Kaelani, don't trip over your own paws." Her mother's name was Hashimi, a retired soldier. Her father, Janu, was a few steps ahead of Kaelani. "You ready to explore?" He asked a warm and welcoming smile spread on his face. "Yeah! I can't wait to explore the campsite!" Kaelani replied, tails high and her eyes gleaming with excitement. Janu leads her to a forest, yet it smelled strange to her. "Dad, whats that smell?" She tilted her head. "Don't worry Kae, it's just the forest." Her dad reassured her, yet she could sense he wasn't telling the truth. She edged into her father's mind, and he knew what it was, something by the name of Cyborgs? She had not yet learned about the threat quite yet, and she looked at her father with a puzzled expression. "Cyborgs." Kaelani chirped, looking at Janu, "What are Cyborgs?"
"Cyborgs are something you'll learn about soon enough." Her father replied, then turned to look at her, "And, how did you know what they are called?" Kaelani shook her head "I just guessed, anyway... Why are we here by Cyborg Forest?" She said, finding something to change the subject. "No questions Kae, just a little... experiment." He meowed carefully, leading her to a beautiful waterfall in a clearing.
"Well, it is pretty and all," she purred, then sat down, "But what is the experiment?" She added.
