She loves the rain. The soothing sound of droplet rhythmically hitting the earth puts her busy mind at peace. Being a sufferer of insomnia she spend countless nights awake and watching the grey sheets of rain battering about outside. Where she lives the summer rain is warm and comforting. She dances in the rain to forget her pain and sadness. Nothing matters but her and rhythm. Mud splatters up her legs and soaks her scarf, but hardly notices. It's just her and the rain. Loneliness vanishes as the rain drops start to plummet down. It is her time to dance. Some think is bizarre, crazy and some even call her a freak. She doesn't care as she leaps through the water. The water washing her soul clean of the world and all it's sins. (136 words)
