kalon's name; Hiyokokalon's gender; Malewhat do they miss the most?; I would have done a comic, but I don't really know if I can do it now. This writing piece will be here until I can draw the comic or if I can't. Comic might not be in color. Sorry about that, but unless there are extensions, school comes first.
Air forced it's way into his lungs by sharp gasps, paws ramming against the ground, pushing him forward, chasing after the small figure ahead. He squinted at it, trying his best to get closer and closer, but the figure seemed to stay in place, never getting any closer or farther. The figure was just out of reach, and never answered to any of the calls he barked out towards it. A name. He was screaming a name to the figure, one he knew oh so well. No reaction was ever garnered. Nothing was sent towards him by the figure. No head turning, no tail twitches, no signs of life. Just a solemn figure standing alone in the dark. The figure was like a star, so close and lovingly familiar, but in reality, it was thousands of miles away, not even realizing he existed. And now it was getting smaller and smaller, and as he opened his mouth for a scream of protest-
Jolting awake by his own scream at the shrinking figure, his brain scrambled to catch up to his blinks and pants illuminated in the soft glow of a pearly dawn. Where was he? Oh, he was in his apartment, with papers scattered haphazardly on his desk and floor around him. He'd fallen asleep, looking at papers, videos, and articles on one of the older missing persons reports. Shaking his head free from the growing anxiety, he stretched himself into a new day. Sighing at all the papers at his paws, he walked over to the kitchen, only to hear the muffled crumpling of thick paper beneath him. Oh, it was a photo he had accidentally stepped on. Bringing it closer to study in his wearing eyesight, he stared sadly at the photo. As the tide of sadness washed his insides out, carving a new episode of depression into his brain, he reflected on the photos contents. It was him and another person in the photo, a bright obnoxious smile on his face, and a nervous yet happy one on the others.
Sighing again as another wave of emotions crashed against his heart, he averted his gaze, looking away. And now he was slammed with another wave, as he stared at the poster, an image of a shy, dark-furred Kalon smiling on the front, chased by bold bright red letters of 'MISSING'. A neat paragraph followed suit underneath the red letters, politely stating the facts about the disappearance of said Kalon up above. And below that, multiple phone numbers lounged lazily at the bottom of the poster, announcing themselves to the reader. Not many details of the Kalon's personality had been printed on the poster, just information about the disappearance and the facts surrounding it. At least, that was on the front.
Hiding on the back were more facts that weren't quite as important, including a small blurb about the Kalon, and one or two facts about his personality. All there, only for the purpose of aiding the search of the Kalon up above. Hiyoko appreciated the polices efforts in finding his best friend, but honestly, so many missing persons came out now a days, he doubted they could really put a whole lot of effort onto a Kalon that wasn't famous, or connected to a lot of people. A nobody. Somebody must have been assigned to his best friends case, but with no news about the disappearance coming out to the media or him since the six months we went missing, Hiyoko took the case into his own hands. "Oh Ken, where did you go where I couldn't?"
