Dear Diary,
There’s a solar eclipse coming! It’s just a month away. I’ve been looking through eclipse watching spots all day. The closest ones are hours away though.
Dear Diary,
Baba just told me they’ll come with me to watch the eclipse. They got a hotel already and said we can make a trip of it. I can’t believe this is finally happening!
Dear Diary,
We made it here. Driving took most of the day but Baba did most of the driving. We got here a day early so we wouldn’t be too worn out tomorrow. This town is pretty cool, we walked around downtown and got ice cream.
Dear Diary,
Today’s the day! I can hardly wait. It’s still a few hours before the eclipse but I can’t sit still. I’ve already packed and made sure we had our eclipse glasses and cameras. Everyone else seems really excited too, there’s so many people arriving in the city.
The eclipse was amazing! Everything I hoped it would be. We had a really good spot on a hill away from a lot of city lights. I’m really glad Baba could come with me.
