Ataria's shine is her pride and joy. She doesn't necessarily show it off to everyone but when she's alone she likes to stare at it and sway her tail so it catches the light. It's about the size of a grapefruit and shaped like a Dusk Relic with 4 small splotches around it and it all shimmers with an opal iridescent color . It tends to change slightly when she's in a bad mood and will become dim but when she's excited it seems brighter. It can be found high up on her tail so she makes sure to take good care of it so it always looks perfect.

June's shine is a ufo which take the colors of the galaxy. June shows off her shine like shes a queen and doesn't care how others feel about it. She prefers if kalons didn't touch it because she doesn't want it to be "ruined" Even though other kalons find this dumb and stupid.June wants the nice flow Purple,pink and white to stay as they are and to be perfect.The ufo looks like a trapezoid with a semicircle on it,Rays of white are shown below it.June states that if someone where to make fun of Her shine she would be more then happy to return the rude remark.

{ kalon's shine } - as one who loves water, Aou is extremely proud of her shark tail shine. though just like herself, it's not the typical one you would expect. it is a longer shine, stretching from almost the base of her tail, all the way to the tip. it has the tell tail (hehe) fin, starting where her fur tufts at the top, and stopping right before the tuft falls into it's usual tail pattern. then going down near the tip of her tail,it starts to split similar to a mermaids tail, then branching out with small gaps in between them like a crowntail betta.

it stands out compared to the rest of her with it's colors as well. it's base color is a pastel yellow, that relfects small streaks of pinks, blues, and oranges. while she swims, she flicks it back and forth to make it catch the light so that she is visible from the shore line. others will often mistake her for a large fish, a mermaid, or even a sea serpent. they say when you see her it can bring you great luck. if you asked her how she felt about these myths, she would simply shrug and tell you that nothing bad is ever said about it so she doesn't mind the rumors. her tail is unique and beautiful. so it fits her perfectly.

Jasmine has a tail shine of her favorite flower on her tail, ironically being a Jasmine. Not only does she have a small cluster of jasmines on her shine, but also a small green and blue hummingbird within them.

vivian's shine is the eye of a peacock feather. the shine is a single, regal eye with a deep violet body and cream touches throughout the design. she has always felt this was quite in tune with her personality. vivian is hardly a shy or insecure kalon; an easy confidence permeates her being. her shine exists as to show others that she knows her worth in the world.

{ kalon's shine } - odette's shine takes the form of a pair of swan wings, outstretched as if about to take flight. the center, where the wings meet, is on the top of her tail, but each wing wraps gracefully around the side of her tail, tips of the feathers just brushing the bottom. at the place where the two wings connect is an iridescent jewel, which, in the right lighting, reflects the violets and pinks of her fur. the wings themselves are very dark gray, almost black. the black swan - odette worried that this mark meant she would be evil, or she would hurt people. because of her worries, she used to hide her shine as often as she could, so no one would see the black wings. this eventually hindered her relationships, because she had become too afraid to open up to anyone. one day, though, sitting in her loneliness, she realized that she couldn't let her shine hold her back from living. odette forced herself to look at her shine in the mirror, and bit by bit, she began to appreciate its beauty. rather than focus on its dark color, she thought about the noble bird it came from. as she learned, swans mate for life. odette thought this was beautiful, and she was moved to cut some of her fur in the style of feathers, so she could be more swan-like. rather than hide, she decided to embrace the beauty that her shine gave her, and she slowly began warming up to people again, this time holding her tail high so all could see the graceful wings, complete with a jewel, shining brightly.
