i really enjoy watching late night movies! whether it's whatever's
airing on cable that evening or something from my own collection, it's a
nice way to unwind. admittedly sometimes i read a book during the film
or fall asleep midway through, but its a kind of background noise that's
not so intrusive that it disturbs me. whenever i get the chance to i'll
invite my friends over to watch with me!

They're usually a very tired Ryn during the day, in a constant battle for getting just an extra five minutes of sleep in their short naps due to insomnia. Though, when they're not napping they're helping others realize their inner and outer beauty. Lux is a self-taught groomer, and wants to make everyone feel beautiful in their own fur. This mostly happens during the night when they get the least amount of sleep, and if they're not helping someone they're working to improve their grooming skills!!

Have you ever met a Dream God? Few have seen them, even fewer have spoken to them, and never has anyone seen their face.

They're not like the Sandman or a Baku or Dream Eater; they're actually probably closer to Hypnos or Morpheus than any of those creatures. And their fates are tragic — like Calypso and her island, they're trapped, forced to wander through others' dreams.

Dream Gods are cryptids in their elusiveness and lonely in their existence. They are soft, gentle, and quiet, as well as, pardon the pun, dreamers. They hope for peace and rest, and they wish for freedom as they ward off nightmares and hide from the person whose dream they'd unintentionally inserted themselves into.

However, recently many have taken to actively hunting them down with the practice of lucid dreaming (only because dreamcatchers have had a zero percent success rate).

Brekke has been fascinated by and formed an unnatural fixation on Dream Gods since discovering the origin of her full name. Her favorite thing to do at night — during the day, too, if she can help it — is to sleep and to dream in hopes that she will finally meet a Dream God.

(Little does she know that exhausted from wandering through another's dreams the whole night, Dream Gods forget everything morning come.)
