Animal fact;;
The color of the shell on a pink fairy armadillo can actually change depending on the environment in which the animal is put in. Based on the environment, irrigation of blood into the blood vessels can actually increase or decrease and lead to change in it's color. Rainbow fairy armadillo! ;D

Animal fact;; Like all insects, dragonflies are technically ectotherms (that is, an animal that is dependent on external sources of body heat). However, it is possible for dragonflies that patrol (fly back and forth, versus those that tend to perch) to undergo thermoregulation! They will fire up their wings, using a rapid whirring movement to warm up their bodies and therefore, their internal body temperature.

Animal fact;; Flamingos are actually naturally white! Flamingo feathers obtain their wonderful rosy pink color from pigments in the organisms they eat. The flamingos’ feathers, legs, and face are colored by their diet, which is rich in alpha and beta carotenoid pigments (most commonly found in blue-green algae and brine shrimp). Some zoos even feed their flamingos a diet that includes a high amount of carotenoids so that they stay pink!
I'm going to learn so many awesome facts from this thread!
