What is their companion?
Species:Glaucus Atlanticus
Name: Linus
Gender:Male
About Linus:
He is a Glaucus Altanticus, a sea slug, with four leg looking limbs attached to the long and thin body, and another two smaller attachments below their 'legs'. But unlike others of his species he is a tad overgrown, compared to the normal size of roughly eight centimeters in length, Linus, is a meter long with extra vertebrae. Which makes him a lot longer! His favourite place to rest on is Fabian's head, right in between Fabian's ears as they provide shelter from the harsh currents trying to push him off. Linus does have a small tendency to curl around Fabian's tail when bored, or when they are both travelling in the vast oceans. The little creature usually scares people away due to his interesting look, but what they don't know is that he is one of the best companions to have, as he is quite smart and when allowed can navigate the whole ocean. The reason as to why Linus tends to keep close with Fabian is because of his loss of hearing in his right ear area, when Fabian found the poor little creature there was a bit of blood coming from where he would hear, Fabian quickly picked the poor fella up and immediately tried fixing it. Although he didn't completely fix it, he prevented it from getting worse so therefore unintentionally he created a very loyal friend. They have been together for a while now, keeping each other company when lonely and strengthening each other when weak.
Personality:
Fabian, a gentleman who loves to bug his male friends about their romance life but can't seem to take it when they ask him about his. He is a gentle and loving male, he loves to spend time with Linus, letting the little slug make new friends. Although there is a somewhat dark side to Fabian, one that he hates and doesn't let anyone but his close family and friends know about.
He has outbursts of anger, which is not expected from a viscet that is almost one-hundred percent of the time calm and timid, but these outbursts are due to his somewhat demonic side showing. This side is not normally seen in recent time, but back when Fabian had no found Linus, his outbursts were so bad that he would tear towns apart, his heart on fire from a certain past memory. But the good thing is that he has changed since then, with his more recently adapted personality being more like that of an angel's compared to that of a demon's.
His personality often being kept in check by his little friend Linus, who can somehow control Fabian's feelings. So if Fabian is nearing a possible outburst then Linus can try and make those feelings weaker, and feelings of calmness and such stronger.
Memory:
Fabian was on the prowl, waiting for his next victim in the dim light of the street lamp. He rushes from side to side, his footsteps hardly making a noise on the walking path below, the path that was his hunting grounds. The only thing that could be heard were footsteps and the howling wind, that forced people to hurry from house to house, like mice escaping a cat.
"Jenny, we must hurry, get the baby inside." a hushed voice said from a corner, to which perked Fabian's ears. The little child's crying was echoing throughout the town, within five minutes the whole town knew about the new and unwanted guest. You see, in this town of mysteries and sometimes death, there was a rumour that if a child was born within the night of all hallows eve then it was to be the one whom destroys all good within the town. Upon remembering this Fabian picked up his pace, towards the sound.
"Ahh, at last, something to do~" he sung in a low but quiet voice. His one bright blue eyes were now covered with his black cloak hood, the drawstrings dangling in the wind. He came closer to the door, right before it was closed he places a paw between the wooden frame and door. A small gasp left the mouth of the female looking at him, her eyes wide and ready for a fight, but Fabian slowly put his paws up, as in surrender. He tried to signal that he was compliant, not wanting to hurt anyone as he was trying to help the little baby in her arms.
The female thought that he was going to hurt her son, destroy him before he can destroy the town, alas that was not what Fabian intended to do. He wished to take the boy and teach him, teach the child the ways, the ways of death. If only the women understood, if only she didn't rush, there were a lot of 'if only's that night. If only she did not rush and trip backwards, for Fabian only wished to save the boy for his own evil purposes, to create a new demon, he saved the boy. But sadly the mother twisted her ankle, falling against the window that shattered yet she didn't fall out, oh how lucky she was.
That night Fabian rushed away, with a crying babe in his arms and under his cloak. He wished for it not to be this way, but due to him wanting everything and anything, he had to have the child. So as he fled that town as the sun rose, he promised that the boy would become his heir. His heir to the throne of hell.
About Fabian:
Fabian's past, present, and future is a bit mixed up. As he is part demon, which doesn't help when he has a side that loves everything good and pure yet his other side wants to destroy all of that. He sometimes has two different personalities per say,
one more so when his demon side is taking advantage and the other when Fabian's more good natured side shines through.
One of Fabian's favourite thing to do is travel, from the very top of Mount Everest to the very depths of the Marianas Trench. With his fins and ears being a big help for anything water related, he does struggle when he has to do anything remotely related to do with bats. He has a phobia of it for some reason, a pretty unjustified reason others seem to think. It purely is based on the fact that once when he was little his father - being one of the harshest in the town - thought that it would be a good idea to make his son travel into a cave. Little did his son know, but there were thousands of bats in the cave. Whilst the deer slept through Fabian's tumbling and thumping around, the bats did not. So when Fabian entered said cave they all flew out to greet him! In a way that apparently scared the poor boy. That seems to be the reason why he will never ever set foot in a cave that may have or had a bat in it.
