favorite camp activity (265 words):
"let's be honest, the best part about camp is when you can finally sleep."
lynn has never been the biggest fan of camp, his parents always forced him to go in the summer, and he really didn't like the fact that they'd constantly make him go every single year. while he'd find some camp activities fun, like swimming and canoeing were his favorite aside from sleeping itself. but lynn absolutely adores sleep, so you can tell his favorite "activity" while camping is just finally going to sleep after a long day of fun.
"my next favorite activity is going home, would you even count that as an activity? oh well, i just like heading back home."
another thing is that lynn cannot wait to go home finally. it's his favorite thing from the whole trip and afterwards he'd tell his parents about everything that's happened while he was there. of course, he even includes when he had the best nights sleep and the worst, normally his best was after they came back to their cabins from swimming.
"and lastly? i think it's pretty cool to meet new friends there."
lynn loves making new friends, despite how shy he seems at first. there are so many new people at camp that he doesn't even know who they are, but he still manages to get along with almost everyone there and have a blast making new friends. sometimes he'll even talk to them after camp is over, he got along with them so well.
".. what are you saying none of these are activies? of course they are!"
extra (293 words):
"but mooom!" the small kalon groaned, clearly frustrated from what was about to happen. it was summertime, his entire family happened to be busy throughout majority of the summer. they thought it would be smart to send him off to a camp, somewhere where he can enjoy himself and his family didn't have to worry about him getting in trouble if he was off on his own. this would be his first time going anywhere without any of his parents alongside him, besides for school, of course. "do you know how long that thing goes on for?" he plopped onto the ground upset, "i'll miss you guys.."
his mother shrugged a little bit, thinking it was obvious about the fact that their kid was going to miss his family. "of course you will. and we'll miss you too, don't worry! but seriously, it isn't that long. mommy and daddy are just a little caught up with work right now, alright? i promise you'll do great out there. you can do lots of fun activities, like swimming and maybe even archery! please just.. uh.. try not to kill anyone, sweetheart.." she chuckled nervously, continuing on with her speech. "we'll see you right before summer ends! and then we can go out for ice cream, from wherever you want and you could get the biggest cone possible."
lynn pondered about it for a second, but he already knew what his answer was going to be. "i'll do anything for ice cream!" he laughed, and tackled his mother in a hug. she hugged him back with a small smile on her face. he was somewhat worried for the adventure called "camp" that was about to come, but he knew it wasn't anything he should stress over.
