Favourite camp activity:

David's favourite activity is hiking. He just loves the outdoors and everything the sweet summer air can bring.

My favourite thing about summer in Colorado is hiking. Whether you want a leisurely stroll or to conquer a rigorous fourteener, there's no end to the beauty and adventure to be had! Once the weather turns warm, my days are spent out on the trails. Because I'm always looking for a new adventure!

Being a camp counsellor and all, I LIVE for adventure! So many beautiful sites, and would you smell the air! I just LOVE the smell of pine in the morning!

Whether you're looking to challenge yourself with some technical rock climbing or marvel at other people's daring and skills, hiking is fun for everyone!

Just outside of the camp grounds, there is a beautiful, moderate to difficult out-and-back trail. Especially beautiful in July when the flowers are blooming, take lots of food and water and plan a relaxing soak in the hot springs when you get back!

what's my favorite activity to do at camp? well, birdwatching, or course!
i adore birds, they're so small and adorable! ( okay, well, some aren't so small, like eagles and hawks... nevermind that! ) songbirds are my absolute favorites to spot. their beautiful melodies, so graceful and delicate each note is. bluebirds, sparrows, finches, robins and even blue jays, so pretty! often decorated in gorgeous feathers, all sorts of colors and patterns, dark, light, colorful! i've walked some amazing trails, perfect for birdwatching with lots of bird-houses, flowers, colorful plants and berries... isn't nature stunning?
