It was a rainy day, the rain filled up the pathways and soaked the flowers. I knew that there wasn't time to go outside and tend to my garden, so I just settled in my chair to drink some tea and read. As I was settling in my chair, I heard a weird sound, a whining sound. What was that? It was coming from the door of my drenched cottage. I answered it. It was a cold, wet puppy. "Oh no, what are you doing out there?" I cooned to the poor dog. "Come come, stay inside."
I was rather stupid, inviting a puppy inside. What was I supposed to do with it? What if it had a serious disease? Rabies? Ignoring my thoughts, I took a closer look at the dog. It seemed lonely and sacred... maybe it would find comfort with me. I beckoned it to sit on my couch. As it snuggled in my numerous blankets, an idea popped into my head. {What if I started an animal shelter?}
I had been alone in my cottage of isolation. But why wouldn't I dare go outside of the woods and explore? Why had I stay put in this old cottage all day? Doing nothing but sit alone and watch? I got up and off my chair. It was time for me to make a difference.
Before I got to my room to think, I grabbed a bottle and fed the young pup.

After hours and hours of thinking, I found out what I would do with my secluded cottage. I found out that my unused rooms could be nap rooms and play rooms. I figured that I was no where near a decent craft shop, so I would have to make everything myself.
I took out my pen and paper and started sketching out my ideas for toys while my puppy slept.

Lune stared sleepily at the bright twilight sky, willing for the stars to come out to play with the moon, as they did most nights. As sure as the stars, lune came out too, to watch the dancing wisps of light each night. She'd wish upon each star, and the wish was the same every time. "I want to be up there," she'd murmur a dozen times over. Her wishes would never come true, and she knew this. This didn't discourage her, however, and neither did the odd looks that were given by family members. "You can watch the stars, and you can watch that old silent film a million times over," they'd say. "But you won't get closer to the stars." She'd shrug them off. Her family were some of the most hypocritical kalons out there, though. The kept telling her to did what she did best, and she did. Lune had always been a dreamer, and just like the stars, she would never change.
