What was their new beginning?;;
Signe had always enjoyed helping people. She grew up with a family that donated to charity, and she helped the kalons around her as much as she could. She taught the kits around her that their feelings are valid and need to be expressed, hoping to lead them on a psychologically healthy path. Signe volunteered at animal shelters and group homes, but she never felt complete. There was a part of her missing, and she didn't know when she'd find it. It only made sense to start over. It was late at night, about 11 PM. Signe was taking a night walk to clear her head, since starting over wasn't as easy as she thought it would be. Walking along a river, listening to the trickling of the water, she saw something. She went pale and almost dropped her lantern. Her eyes were fixated on this moving blob that appeared to be dragging itself on the ground. Signe took a deep breath and held her lantern high, approaching the blob.. A loud gasp pushed its way past her lips. Laying in front of her was a medium sized dog that was clearly malnourished. The poor baby only had three legs. The canine was startled by the kalon and whimpered, but didn't try to move away. Signe realized that through all of her volunteering and caring for others, she had never saved anyone. She had never saved anything. Something clicked inside her mind and she knew what she wanted to do. She knew exactly where to start. Slowly, Signe approached the small dog. She gently lifted him off the ground and held him close. He was shaking, petrified. The kalon stroked him softly, shushing the dog very quietly. After a few moments, he calmed down. She began walking to the nearest veterinarian office, with all of her heart determined on saving her new friend. She knew she'd save many other friends to come. Signe wasn't just the sweet girl in town anymore. Signe was a life saver. To think, her new beginning started with her best friend Arnold.

Turning Point
Life had always been one whirlwind of a roller coaster. Lilah spent her entire childhood dreaming of joining the military. Once she got out of school, she immediately left for training. There was no way Lilah could have been happier. It was time to live her dream!
However, that dream was short lived...
Within a week, Lilah noticed that her health was beginning to fail.. As her captain grew wary, he worried for young Lilah. She reminded him so much of his own daughter. That bit of affection was what led him to discharge Lilah until she regained her health.
Though leaving heartbroken, Lilah understood it was for the best. She returned to her hometown. She became dedicated to finding ways to preserve her health.
Step One, create her own little home. She left for the out skirts of town, and searched the surrounding woods. Lilah got to work constructing her own little haven: a cottage in the woods.
The best way, Lilah decided, to save her health was keep herself surrounded by nature and find the most natural ways to save herself. To do that, she decided it was time to take up herbology. Time to study the Shaman ways.
