what's their favourite thing about living on earth?:
the fellow species that live along side her for the moment. they are just all so fascinating. from the way they communicate with each other, to their vast knowledge and their varied way of living. coming from space of where there are few other races on the millions of planets it was so,,, odd but nice seeing so many diverse species all on one tiny planet. she loved it. they were all so facsinating in their own unique ways which was amazing considering teh thousands of species there were.

Midnight's favorite thing about living on Earth is:
Mightnight watches the stars, and is very silent while doing so. It seems as if it calms him. Midnight would never sleep in a bed. He is much more comfortable sleeping under the stars on a warm summer night or a frosty white Christmas. That is if he does sleep during the nighttime.

Other than the stars, Midnight loves nighttime. He loves to observe the beautiful but mysterious creatures that lurk in the darkness when all the other Kalons are asleep. Sometimes, if he's lucky, he will catch creatures, observe them, and finally release them. Midnight finds nocturnal creatures more fascinating than the others who bask in the sunlight all day long, and miss the adventures of Night.
Other Kalons might disagree with his opinions, but Midnight disagrees. He says that they are jealous that they have never experienced Night.

Leo has always been an enigma, understanding them is unlikely. No matter how intertwined with your narrative they may be, there's always another chapter of Leo's story yet to be discovered. This being said, Leo's beloved feature of Earth would be the planet's mystique. Despite landing on the surface of the moon and crafting vehicles that roam the cosmos, humans of Earth still aren't entirely sure how deep the ocean is. There could possibly be tribes deep within the Amazon Rainforest who have never seen the outside world. Atlantis could be out there and mermaids in some sense may truly exist. All of these intrigues and delicate paradoxes are what Leo loves best about the world they are surrounded by.

Cinn’s favourite thing about Earth? Its inhabitants. The way they all have little tendencies and habits and emotions. Biting their nails, tapping their feet in impatience. The way they headbop along to catchy songs and get frustrated when they stub their toe. The way their fur ruffles when they're angry, or the way their face goes red when they try not to cry.

Back on Cinn’s planet, to do any of these things — purposely or not — would be deemed extremely weird, and suspicious looks would be thrown at you left and right.

Here, on this small, measly planet, it's normal. If you didn't feel at least some sort of pain after bruising your ankle, or burning your finger, or scraping your elbow — that would be weird. Or feeling excited about going to a concert, or your birthday party, or getting a new video game that you wanted all year for Christmas — those are all normal things on Earth. Feeling sorry for someone who fell over, feeling happy for or even jealous of someone who won first place, feeling mad about someone who tripped you over.

Even though these are all weird things to Cinn, it's almost charming, in a way.

the northern lights, as the native creatures seem to call them. they twist and dance and arc towards some unknown place high in the sky, twirling around each other akin to the snow at his feet. these lands are cold and foreign underfoot, but watching those lights feather across the night sky provides a strange feeling within-- like holding a breath, although such a thing doesn't apply. sometimes he wishes he could touch them, racing along with each fold and tendril escaping into the night. the aurora borealis holds a beauty like the kalon has never seen and sometimes on nights like these, he forgets how much he misses home. { 110/200 }

It's hard for anyone to pinpoint their favourite part of earth, living here day by day beauty merges. It's easy to miss the deep hues of flowers, and the careful pure relationship two can hold, in such a busy world. Sure, stars are nice, she likes them, yeah, but that's hardly it. Nature, animals, and human creations like music & books, are just as good. But what makes these things so good?
Why when you listen to a song do you smile, when finishing a book it leaves you wanting more, it's because of what it gives you. Feeling. Yura adores the strings of emotion and feeling we have tied around all things in our life. Earth is the only planet in the milky way with life. With creatures with a conscious. And that never gets old.
Laying out over hillsides watching the sun sink and fireworks light up the sky, is better with a friend. Like life, is better with love. It can give us so much. Memories we live over and over when time passes us by, twinging at our strings. The brightest shades of happiness, and moments that feel can last forever. That's what sells life here on earth for Yura.
