Hello! Welcome to Stone Creek Animal Shelter. We are a non-profit shelter that relies on donations to keep this place up and functioning properly. All animals are welcome to this shelter, whether found as a stray or abandoned by their owners, but we like to focus on all pitbull/staffordshire terrier mutts- a very misunderstood dog!
All adoptions are free, we just want to make sure you're well-suited to take your new family member home. You must fill out a form in order to try and adopt a dog.

Reason for Arrival: Owner surrender. The man that brought the dog in complained that the six week old puppy he had bought several months ago got way too big, and that he wouldn't listen properly to commands..
Notes: Quiet lap dog that seems a bit hand-shy. He appears to be completely deaf and yet he is very intelligent and eager to please.

He may not be the best at following commands but there is one motion he understands and it usually means naptime or just bonding time with his owner in general x3.Although he enjoys doing his best, he knows he will always get that one trick right, and it will make him and his owner happy and proud<3, although he likes branching out and trying new tricks like spin and play dead!

Favorite Trick:Kahuna's favorite trick is to be able to do things on his own. Although he can't hear the things going on around the house and can't hear the commands given to him, or even just asking if he's hungry in a baby like manner, he was taught how to do things. Such as his favorite trick involving eating, his rope to open the lid to his food container. Kahuna will tug on the rope and the lid to the container will hit a small little bell and that will show me he wants some food. Kahuna also being deaf knows how to read sign language.
