"to be loved, of course. nothing fuels a person's soul more than feeling appreciated by another. receiving that sort of dedication is an incredible confidence booster and it pushes the belief in your mind that anything can be done.
"on the other side of things, falling in love can be dangerous. it can tear apart a life with little show of mercy. i am careful about who i let have that sort of overwhelming power over me."

"if i had one wish, it would be to plant a flower garden that doesn't die. i suppose it's a simple desire, too simple for some, but i've never loved anything more than the beauty of flowers. all the varieties they come in --- flowers shaped like trumpets and dragons, a fully-bloomed bush or a stalk with a single blossom, and the endless combination of colors --- bring such joy to my heart. it would be wonderful indeed to walk outside each day and see every plant in perfect condition.

to fall in love; with myself, with my dreams, my hobby's, my passions. to fall in love with who i want to be and yet who i am at the same time. to love my life, to love someone else and bring them joy and happiness, even if that love may not be mutual. to love the small things like fresh air, or the big things like a child. love can bring joy for an eternity, and i will never count on someone else to love me if i do not fall in love with myself.
question two; if you had one wish, what would you wish for?
question two's answer;
honestly, for everyone who i care about to live a happy, secure life filled with no ailments or illnesses (both physical and mental) that would end their life too soon. i would never wish to see anyone i love in pain or cursed with a terminal illness that ends their life before their time, or a freak accident. i want them all to live happy quiet lives until they are old, surrounded by their grandchildren in a nice home, filled with love next to the ones they love.

i mean, to be frank? i think fate and destiny and all is a load of bull crap. maybe free will is an illusion and everything i've done and everything i'm going to do is all written in stone already — but like, how do you know that? who's out there pulling the strings? ain't it scary thinking that you have no control over your own life? so, i guess i like thinking that, maybe, i've got a little more say in how my life turns out than that. even if i make mistakes, i want to own them. i want them to be my mistakes — and no one else's. i'd rather screw up than live like a spectator in my own life, you know?

anyone can fall in love — that's what i think. but not everyone is loved, and i think that's real sad. and i'm not talking about all that cheesy romantic stuff either — i mean, real, unconditional love. from family. from parents. from friends. some people out there, you know — they feel so alone. they don't think they've got a single person who accepts them for who they are. and that's so sad. i can't imagine a life without knowing someone out there loves me no matter how much i screw up. i don't think i'd wish that on even my worst enemies, you know? everyone deserves to be loved; no one was born evil. no one pops outta the womb thinking they're gonna be an awful person. life twists people in funny ways, y'know? and i think that unconditional love — or missing it — can change a person for life.

"Well, you see, that ones tricky," Ari's ears fell back as he concentrated, nose wrinkling and paws turned inwards, "I believe that it's more important to be loved. I feel to fall in love is in more of a romantic sense, you know? To be loved can be romantic, but it also includes all kinds of family and friendships. I think to be loved is a better feeling as well - a lot less nervewracking than falling in love!"

"Oh! Now that one is much easier, and a lot less deep," Ari laughed, throwing his head back as he seemed to open up much more, "I would wish... well, in all honesty without saying anything more personal, I wish snacks at the movies weren't so expensive. I mean, are tickets not enough? Nothing tops movie theater popcorn, though, and they know that, so I guess that's a wish that won't come true anytime soon!"

Every day in this life fades by faster than any eye could see, milliseconds disappearing before our very minds and flicker from our thoughts as we age into who we are every passing second. With my current career status and position in life, I strongly fear losing the chance at everything I could have possible in my future by wasting my time, yet I am incapable of correction and seem to have severe priority issues. I shall continue investing in finding a solution to this problematic situation after I get my midnight snacktime out of the way.

If we lived in an ideal world, there would be no difference between falling in love and being loved in a general sense, as everyone could be loved wholly. Unfortunately we happen to live in a society well developed with standards that are put in place by greed and rejection so it is quite common for people to feel unloved. In this case I would have to admit it is healthier for everyone to be loved and love others. Maybe then we could fall in love with the society itself.

The question felt stupid, crossing my arms and leaning back in my chair. "Destiny? I suppose I believe in it, but so does anyone looking for reason. I'm a kalon who tries to live the honest and logical lifestyle, but not everything can be explained. Some things just happen for a reason, whether that's destiny or just misfortune is another thing but I'll leave that choice to you. Part of being alive is having an opinion after all."

"Cannot be forgiven..?" This one was more deep, meaningful and surprising. "I'd like to believe nothing, that any crime, even murder can be forgiven in time. Honestly, the only thing that comes to mind is betrayal of someone you love. A mate, parent or sibling mostly,
friends are nice but not reliable all the time to be truthful. If a mother would willingly lie or misguide her kit, it would not be accepted. It's terrible to hurt someone you truly care about..."

• "by definition, destiny is the hidden power believed to control what will happen in the future. with that said, do i believe in destiny? no i do not. but, i do believe that there is a certain succession of events meant to happen to oneself; that determines character, history, and beliefs. they are supposed to shape your mind, as young brains are like blocks of clay. blocks of clay waiting for hands to make impressions in it. so, destiny per say? no. but influential experiences? yes.

my destiny? well as i said i don't particularly believe in destiny. but, an influential experience that i believe will happen is i will get married. or fired from my job. either one is probable."

• "ah, love. love is very important in one's life. love makes one feel happy, empowered. when you're loved you feel wanted, special, and important. but, falling in love is a different experience. you can either have the best time of your life, or end up completely heartbroken and shattered. the problem is when you love a person, but they do not feel the same. there is no single outcome, which makes falling in love confusing and sometimes stressful. from this i draw this conclusion. it is far more important to be loved than to fall in love. and while there are many different forms of love, each one is empowering. and if you feel empowered, then you fall in love with yourself."

Unlimited ink and paper. Imagine all of the stories that could be written with imagination. World peace would be my second option, but of course someone will always be there to stop it from happening, plus I only have the one wish. Besides, what good would world peace do against other-worldy wars? No, I'd rather sit in my brightly lit office room and pour my thoughts on my paper. Imagine the blurb on the back. "A local librarian wishes for word peace, which was granted almost instantly. The world quietened down, yet there was still a danger out there. Sure, world peace could be issued, but what about other-worldy wars? Nobody ever considered that...

I do indeed, why else would I be here? I'm nothing more than a humble local librarian, and that's what I was born to do. To shelf books, and write books of my own. Who would want to do anything else? Well, I guess there are those with different opinions... But that won't stop me from doing what I love!
