A roar echoed through the forest.
It was no use. She didn't know how to move around here at all. Lillian stumbled on the uneven terrain but she continued to move her legs as fast as possible to escape. Escape the raging villagers chasing her through the forest as they scream her name in fury.
That's when Lillian met her.

A beautiful yet cold kalon stood in the forest alone right in front of her escape route. "Excuse me, do you live around here? Do you know the way out?" Shocked, Lillian stopped right in her tracks. She stumbled and fell flat on her face. Quickly picking her self back up, Lillian replied, "Sort of? My name is Lillian. I'm not super familiar but I do have a rough idea how to get out of this forest." The mysterious kalon pondered for a bit and said, "Close enough. My name is Winter. So, lead the way." The roaring in the distance grew louder. Lillian shifted around, "That might not be a good idea. Well you see.... I'm kind of being chased down right now by an angry group of people right now." Lillan looked up to see Winter's face and gauge how she reacted. A couple seconds of awkward silence passed and Lillian started to worry. Breaking the silence, Winter said, "Oh. Okay. We should get going then." Taken aback, Lillian stuttered a sorry excuse for a refusal, "Bbb..b.but!" Winter without any second thoughts, nudged Lillian, "No buts! Let's go already." Lillian was at a loss here. She was surprised and grateful that she met someone who doesn't hate her.

You see, Lillian grew up in a small isolated village deep in the forest. A few years before her birth, a rumor was passed around. A rumor about a child of misfortune that would soon appear in the village. The rumor was soon forgotten by most but that would not be the last time the rumor arose.

It started with her mother's death at birth. Many did not give much thought to this, however the ones that did was the ones who remembered the rumor. Soon after, her father disappeared. Many spectated that it was due to the depression and loneliness from his wife's passing. Lillian was then sent off to the local orphanage since none of her relatives wanted to associate with her. At the orphanage, she was bullied constantly. Lillian tried her best not to let it get to her but everyone has a limited. This fateful day was the breaking point. Her bullies, locked her in a cabinet knowing she had a slight fear of the dark. She slammed her fists on the door and screamed, "Let me out! Please! Please! Please..." Tears started forming around her eyes. She could her the laughter of the other children on the other side, " Ha ha! Like we would ever let you out! You loser!" Soon a caretaker came to see what was going on. Lillian shouted hoping that the caretaker would unlock the door, "Help me please! I'm stuck inside!" A couple seconds of silence passed. The caretaker growled, "Why would I ever let the child who killed my sister free? You ,the child of misfortune, should just stay there forever." Lillian stood behind the door frozen from shock. The tears streamed down her cheeks and dripped on the floor. "Please, no, wait..." she whispered as the footsteps of the caretaker and the children faded away. Lillian curled up into a ball and started to sob. She shouted,"I don't want to be here anymore! I want to leave this place forever!" As if mother nature heard her wish, the plants sprouted out of the ground violently and breaking down the door. The sound of the door bursting open and breaking echoed through the halls.
Multiple staff members ran towards the sound only to see the unusually large plant growing out the cabinet. The caretaker from before growled, "WHAT DID YOU DO?!?" Lillian jumped back and slowly backed away. The bullies from before squeezed passed the staff and bolted towards her. They screeched,"Look at the stupid idiot! Attack!" Lillian scared half to death, screamed, "No.. STOP!" Suddenly a tree shot up from the ground pinning the bullies to the ceiling. The staff stared at what just occurred in front of them. One shook themselves to get out of the shock and ordered, "Get the kids down! They're unconscious and might be in danger! Restrain the girl!" The staff started to run towards her when more trees grew out of the ground restraining their movements and blocking their way. Lillian quickly put herself back together and darted towards the exit to escape from this village. The news spread quickly around the village. The chaos caused by this accident is why is she being chased right now.

Lillian shook her head to clear her thoughts. Full with the resolve to leave this place, Lillian stared right into Winter's eyes and said, "It's this way. Follow closely." The two of the started to move. As they grew closer to the edge of the forest, Winter asked, "Hey, when you leave here you'll be all alone right?" Lillian bit the bottom of her lips and nodded without looking back at Winter. Winter gave a sympathetic smile and asked, "Do you want to live with my family and I then?" These words rang in Lillian's head. Tears formed around her eyes. This time, she turned her head around and nodded. They continued to run. Run towards the end of this forest and a start of a new life.

Personality: Violetta is a shy and kind Kalon. She likes to walk through gardens and smell the fresh flowery scent wafting around. Violetta also likes to experiment with flowers. She often creates medicine and perfume with them. Violetta is also a huge fan of nature as she spends countless hours in forests and taking walks beside the crystal clear lake.

Violetta is also extremely sensitive with nature. One day when she woke up in the morning, she found out that someone had threw trash in her garden! That made her mad for days. She tries to control her emotions around nature, but she loves it so much that she has become a part of it.

Violetta isn't the type of Kalon that would hang around other Kalons as she is quite shy (like I mentioned before). She spends most of her life alone in a little cottage surrounded with trees deep in the forest. She does have friends though, so Violetta isn't completely alone. Most of her friends have a personality like Violetta's, so she is comfortable around them.

If you love nature, you love animals. That's what Violetta says. She had made a little hospital especially and only for injured or sick animals. Hers patients are always happy around Violetta bringing a smile to her face. She feels like helping animals was a good way to protect nature, and that's why she considers it her future career.

Violetta is very dreamy. She often writes fantasies about her saving the universe and being a hero. Sometimes, it would be her braving the dangerous waves to find a secret nature recipe or maybe winning the lottery of rare items. She also likes to role play with her friends about her fantasies. Of course it won't happen, but maybe it will, someday. she thinks.

If you meet Violetta, chances are that she would run away. She doesn't like visitors unless you bring her something that she likes. So unless you have a bouquet of rare flowers or a small box of treats, you won't really see her.

Personality: Lena's sweet, kind, and calm. she's a bit too shy, but that's okay. she is socially awkward and to motivate herself in doing anything is by reading. she loves fantasy stories and likes to find problems in the stories that she likes. she also likes looking at the stars, and her father called her ''star girl'' for her love of the constellations. she has no crush at the moment and is heterosexual. she wishes she wasn't shy, but that's just part of who she is. when she does something wrong, she holds onto it for a very long time. she's very emotional, crying at the slightest things. she tries to encourage other kalons to follow their dreams, but it's quite hard when you feel you will never follow your own dreams. she dreams of being popular, having friends, and to one day not be shy. but that won't happen, even though she wishes that it could with all of her heart. her birthday is July 7, or the starting day of the Japanese star festival. she wants to find love one day, but she thinks that no one can love her. after all, she thinks she isn't beautiful in any way.

Lena loves nature and feels she must protect it. she walks at night-time around the forest and helps animals. she's made a small cottage in the woods for animals that are hurt or injured. they can stay there, and Lena will feed them and take care of them. she has never told anyone about her secret animal care rescue cottage because she feels they'll think it's weird or strange to take care of everything. she's been taking care of animals in her cottage for about four years now, and she's still hoping to take care of the animals for many years yet.

Lena's favorite animal is a peacock, maybe because she feels like she wants to have both inner beauty and outer beauty just like a peacock. her tail is just like a peacock, but she wasn't born that way. she was born with a long silky tail, but one day she had to have surgery to take it off. she was only five at the time. she cried for a long time, as she loved her long silky tail. her father decided to give her a surprise to cheer her up, and he took her to the hospital once more. she had another surgery, but this time the doctor put on a peacock feather tail, to show she was beautiful. she remembers this, but she's starting to think she isn't beautiful.

she wants to find love one day, but she knows they'll find out how stupid she is. she keeps to herself, trying to not become attached to anyone. love can hurt, and she already hurts too much. no one can know her little secret of how she isn't perfect, and she's going to keep it that way.

lena does have powers though, powers she kept hidden for a very long time. she has the powers of nature, communicating with animals, and to grow magical plants. she once made a flower that would heal any wound, and it helped save a kalon from dying of a unknown disease.

now, to show a bit more about who she is, we should see in her diary how she feels. it'll make you see more about her, and know exactly how she's different than your average kalon.

day 1

i went to class today, like always. Mr. Brown asked us a question, and I stupidly raised my paw. why am I stupid? I knew I shouldn't have done that... he asked us what is the square root of pi. i said the square root of pi is 1.772453850912.
let me tell you, that isn't the answer.
it is 1.77245385091. why did I add the 2 in the end? I don't know. I'm stupid... I shouldn't have done anything.

i still remember yesterday... why did i do that? why was i stupid? no one knows. i wish i could just forget it, but I know I won't.
anyways, in mrs. lilac's class i doodled in my sketch book. why did i do that? no one knows. I got in trouble. TROUBLE.
i'm so stupid, i need to stop doing stuff like this.
i'm currently crying in my room, i hope tomorrow's a better day.
but then again, no day is perfect. so no day at all is good.

i was walking in the halls today, alone like always. a kalon came up to me and talked. he was nice, i wish i had friends like him.
but that wasn't the exciting part, he wanted to be my friend! I'm so happy, I could scream.

looking for what I do not know. I have been struck by cupid's arrow, I've fallen madly in love! I have be
en graced by the presence of a goddess. Though she may never speak to me - no mere mortal would d
are to speak with a being such as her - I can hear her soft voice, honey sweet with the joy of the sun.
Perfection walks among us, a nature goddess who can converse with the Earth, who controls all her w
hims and creates life with a thought. How could it be that I, a mortal, a peasant, have seen her beaut

|||||She left behind what I imagine is her one earthly possession - a journal written in a language only

A sacred text which no mortal eyes can decipher, leaves pressed into the pages with descriptions of th

|||||I hope to see her again, this goddess of the forest. We could never speak, but I could return thes
e sacred texts that I'm certain she's missing. Even without talking, just seeing her beauty again I feel I

||||I was just recalling my childhood on Iorelisse the other day. Ah, what memories I have of those ti
mes! I can recall one very clearly - my tutor, Na'hiid, was absolutely terrified of the Hurrimand Beetle
s that you could find on Jungla trees, and I had brought some to my class that day. Na'hiid was mortifi
ed, of course, but it was just hilarious to see her reactions. The things were harmless, but that one a
ction earned me extra classwork for a week. It was well worth it, however. The beetles actually remin
ded me of a similar creature here on Earth called "Ladybugs", though they are much smaller than the
Hurrimand's. These Ladybugs are far from the most interesting insects I've learned about so far, but th
ey hold such a striking resemblance to the Hurrimand Beetles I just hand to mention them. Speaking o
f insects, yesterday while I was collecting samples of insect life here on Earth, I dropped my journal in
the forest. Luckily, I have a spare, but I do hope that I can find the journal again as I had some of my f
avorite Earth leaves pressed in the pages.||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
||||In other news, I still have yet to find any creatures that can comprehend language. I was sent to l
earn more of this planet but because of our very small grasp on the creatures present here I have no cl
ue where to find anything I can ask for more information from. Any of the creatures I have encountere
d couldn't understand my speech and so often they lashed out at me in an attempt to damage and mai
m. I hope I can find more civilized creatures soon, I would so love to learn more of this Earth from an
actual earthling. Oh, it would be fascinating! I wonder, what language would they speak in? Something
I could understand, I would hope, as I would be so disappointed if I finally met a creature with such ca
pabilities of language and we couldn't even communicate.||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
||||Anyway, I believe my guards have mentioned that we may be returning to Iorelisse earlier than e
xpected, which, while disappointing, might be for the best if I can't find anyone who I can communica
te my mission to. I'll be returning to the forest where I dropped my journal, though, as it contains muc
