He is the peripheral Stallion, he is in this position as he has followed Ricochet's herd for a few months and was accepted by him.

He may not interact with Masquerade or Fallacy but he protects them from further interference by any other bachelor Stallion.

Ricochet allowed him to stay as the outsider of his herd as he is mature and strong but doesn't push boundaries. He made the mares in Ricochet's herd feel safer.

He will may decide to leave this role and find a herd of his own one day but for now he is happy wondering alongside Ricocet.

He normally trails other herds, but doesn't approach them, as he's much too scared to, for the possibility of being attacked. It seems every fight he fights he loses, for some reason or another- so he has no mares.
