Prompt Thirteen:
The misshapen adventures of Nadia and Avery
Nadia groaned as she threw her pack on the ground of the cavern of crystals. She lowered herself to the ground as she wiped her forehead. She was glad to be out of the lava lands. She hated the heat at home and being there made it all the worse. And the burns from the embers in the air just made it all the worse. She was sure she had a bald spot somewhere.
As she looked Avery over from where she was examining a large crystal, she noted nothing was wrong with her, with a great deal of relief. At least they never had to go back, she thought as she laid back with her head on her pack, calling to Avery, "Hey, come on, let's get some rest,Come lay down with me."
Avery sighed as she turned from the crystal she was looking at and went over to her mother and curled up into her side, sighing as she laid there looking up at the ceiling of the cavern. She shivered slightly as the cool air shifted and curled around the two of them.
Nadia sighed as she examined the ceiling. It seemed that even the walls of the caves were embedded with crystals, and it made it look almost magical.
'Everything here seems unreal', she thought, 'But it has to be better than the Lavalands, right?'
But it seemed that she had no answer to that question, and that seemed to scare her the most.
"A ɴᴇᴡ ᴡᴏʀʟᴅ ᴛᴏ ᴇxᴘʟᴏʀᴇ!
This place is probably the nicest you've been yet. Crystals everywhere, my kind of place for sure.
How does your hero feel about it? "
