Seems the mimic didn't take to kindly to being bashed against the rock. For almost an hour it proceeds to chase Addie around while Castiel and Naomi sit by their tent watching with slight amusement and confusion. Naomi rolls her eyes and snorts as she watches Addie zoom past the tent another time. "I told her not to open it like that. Now it's trying to eat her." Castiel raised a brow and gave her a "shouldn't we help" look but Naomi shook her head.

"She's survived making a bear mad and being stuck in a tree hiding from it for an hour, she'll live now. She's just got to learn not to make stupid choices that could hurt the whole group." She crossed her arms and leaned against a bolder. "Don't get me wrong, I enjoy her company but she's so reckless.." He nodded at her.

After a good 30 minutes Addie's screeching stopped and she zoomed back to them before flopping on the ground and huffing with exhaustion. "It fell into the lava." She panted lowly as she gasped for breath. For someone who traveled a lot she sure was out of shape. Naomi rolled her eyes again. "If you did things without thinking less this wouldn't happen." Addie weakly waved her away with her hand. "Yeah yeah I know."

When Nerim reads the words "YOU LOST THE GAME" from inside the chest, adding injury to insult, the chest begins to move and then jumps onto Nerim, biting his head. From inside the chest, Nerim is yelling "HELP!"

Sozen facepalms and tries to assess the situation. "He probably got mad at you for scaring him, you know. You earned this." Faerie chuckles as she watches this play out, not wanting to take part.

Nerim is running around aimlessly, screaming and trying to get his friends to help. "Please, can you guys HELP ME?"

"Then slow down, we can't help if you're running around," Sozen replies. He goes over to Nerim and grabs the mimic. He's able to pull it off easily, making Nerim, once again, jealous at how he can handle creatures.

"So, what are we gonna do with it?" Nerim asks, touching his face to make sure he's fine.

"We'll put him back where you found him." Sozen says as he grabs the paper the mimic had inside. He places it back into the mimic, for another wanderer to find. They leave the mimic, though it keeps following behind slowly.

Cinna was ready to leave, but a rumble behind her made her stop. She turned around to look at the chest, which was shaking pretty violently. Suddenly, it grew a pair of arms, and began rushing towards her! She pulled out her rolling pin again and prepared to do battle. She swung at the mimic and managed to land a good hit, but it didn’t seem to affect the creature much. It swiped back at her with one of its arms. She tried to dodge, but with the added weight of the stone orb, she wasn’t able to move out of the way in time. The bludgeon hit her hard in the shoulder, and she landed on her side.

Wincing a little as she got up, Cinna realized that she wouldn’t be able to beat this thing without gaining some severe injuries herself. Deciding to abscond, she tore a flour bomb off her pack and threw it at the mimic. The ball poofed into a white cloud, and she was able to gain a bit of distance as the creature was distracted by the powder.

Boom! A sudden noise made her turn back. When the small sack of flour had touched the molten ground, the grain had instantly combusted, causing a mini explosion! The mimic flew back a few feet, covered in tiny embers. It was only angered by the attack; now it came at her even faster than before.

A plan began to form in Cinna’s mind. She tore off a couple more flour bombs and threw them at the ground in front of the mimic, watching as it flew backwards again. Her eye on a nearby pool of lava, she kept throwing flour bombs, not stopping until the mimic was about to fall in. She ran up and used her rolling pin to swing at the monster again, her strike fueled by a righteous fury. “Gyaaahhh!!!!” She sent the mimic reeling, throwing it off-balance enough that it fell into the molten rock. The creature’s piercing screams forced Cinna to cover her ears until it was fully submerged in the pool. Letting out a small sigh of relief, she got back on the path and continued on her way.

Looks can indeed be deceiving.

a surprise encounter!

as soon as pip was about to walk away from the chest, they heard something move behind them. turning around, pip couldn't believe their eyes. the chest had grown arms and an eye and was moving towards them. pip started to pick up their pace, but it was no use. " ahh! " pip yelled, the chest's arms were too long and had been able to grab them. they turned their head around and looked at the mimic " how is this even possible " pip groaned, completely confused about what was going on. they continued to struggle, trying to get out of the mimic's grip. without a weapon, they'd never be able to get free as the mimic's grip was way too strong. " let me go! " pip cried out uselessly. no one was around to help them, so they were completely stuck.

" somebody help! " pip called out loudly, even though they knew no one was around. pip groaned and started kicking their feet wildly. " i'll give you your canteens back! just let me go! " pip begged. the mimic didn't seem to be impressed by their deal at all and just kept a tight hold on the kalon. finally, pip decided to bite the mimic's arm with their sharp teeth. it finally let go of them, leaving pip feeling as if they had been squeezed to death. " ahah! " pip said, still in pain, but proud of their victory. the mimic left in defeat, leaving pip with two canteens full of water to continue on. " that was a breeze, " they laughed.

Noah ~ Celestia ~ Edmund

Edmund screamed on the top of his lungs as he was being flung around the cavern wildly. The Mimic had him tight in his clutches as it let out a shriek in angers of the party attempting to pry open its mouth earlier. Edmund was on the verge of tears as it continue to swing him over its "head". "What do you do!?!?!" Noah said grabbing the hair on his head and pulling on it. Celestia was in a fighting stance bouncing side to side but really had no idea how to go about attacking it. "It's wood, it cant do that." She cried unsure what to do at this point as the Mimic started to spit coins and gems at them. Celestai and Noah panicked and scrambled to take cover form the flying treasure that was now being hurled at them and it really hurt!

As thing where falling out of hand and really quickly Noah picked up a rock and threw it back at the Mimic. There was nothing else he could do to stop it and further more he had no genius idea's.Though the rock didn't hit the Mimic but instead hit his brother how cried out "Why did you hit me!!!!" Noah whined and shrugged "I wan't!! It was worth the shot though!" He called back out to his brother. Though with the Issue at hand not getting any better Celestia looked at the two and suggested "Why not wait it out, Im sure it has to get tired at some point.'' She pointed out and sat down leaning on the rock and crossing her arms.

"Don't just sit there!" Edmund whined as he contained to be shaken like a tambourine. Noah though followed his aunts advice and sat down and tried to wait it out.

After hours of Edmund complaining and screaming the Mimic finally gave up, dropped him and went on its marry way. Edmund got up and was dizzy as he stumbled over to Celestia and Noah and slugged them both. He was clearly offended by thier lack of action and then sat down with them. "Why me, Why is it always me! Noah was the one that wanted to open the darn thing." Edmund Exclaimed and then fail flat on the floor and let out a heavy sigh. He was to exhausted to complain further and with that they stayed there to rest. There was no point of moving and they knew there where safe.

"It could have been worst" Celestia said with a yawn "There could had been a group of them, then we would have all been in trouble at that point" She added and put and arm over her face. Though it appeared as she had talked to soon as she heard the clinking noise of coins and gem getting louder an louder. It appeared their Mimic brought friend with them this time and with that they all got up and scrambled to run away from the group of mimics.

Just as they put on the armor it melted, "It was a trick! Throw out the bread!" just as they threw the bread it exploded with a loud "Boom" Albis hid in fear as he shouted "T-T-The chest!!" The other two turned around abruptly and saw a pair of teeth and a tongue erupt from the open chest, the thing started jumping at them with a terrifying screech. Louis glared at the thing and looked at Albis and Gladis "Albis throw that sleep potion you have, if you put them to sleep it's easier to attack!" Nodding he set his bag down and started looking through the potions he had, a few second later he unscrewed a cap and threw the bottle at the mimic, nearly missing it hit it swiftly, the mimic stopped jumping and started making a loud snoring noise. "Okay Gladis lets attack from both sides with our swords!" Nodding swiftly Gladis stepped to the side and both hit the mimic several times in sync after a few minutes a puff of smoke erupted from the thing and it was gone.
