Place and why: This old cabin in the woods, in the picture to the left. It's one she found deep in the local forest one day, and made it her secret hideout since nobody has occupied it for a long while. Local legend has it that some kalon was murdered in it, so the townskalons don't dare to mess with it. Tirya vows that when she has enough money, she plans to renovate it into a cozy little home for her to live in.

Place and why: The great lantern fest; It all began when he was a child. Traditional culture included an annual lantern festival a little ways away from his hometown. This festival was a practice for when children 'in the community 'came to age.' Each member of the area would release a lantern at the festival so long as they had matured enough to do so.

For years, Hikari wanted to go and see those shimmering, dazzling lights in the sky. The year he finally was welcomed was an experience he will never forget. Each year he still attends the festival, although he is much older now than he was back then. The looks on the children's faces always bring him back to his first experience lifting a lantern into the sky. He always goes back to ensure their ceremonies are just as perfect as his was.

Place and why: Takumi loves the harbour, where all the fishermen go out and come back after a long day of fishing. He just loves to see when the workers get back from a great day, or try to cheer them up when they had a really bad day. Sometimes he will even join the other fishermen out. Takumi values the relationships he has made by the harbour with the locals and the workers. Unlike harbours for boats like big cruise ships this one is just small, friendly and calming. The sound of the waves clashing with the boats and shore just calms him, and the fresh sea air that he loves so much. There isn't a day that he would miss, he has to atleast get one breath of the fresh air. He can even buy some fish for a cheap price from the fishermen on his way back and enjoy a great meal once he gets home. [156/200]

Place and why: Hanimoko ( Moko ) loved the outdoors as a young kin, often taking pleasure in her mother's Koi pond, dipping in her paws to feel the little fish tickle them with their "kisses" as her mother called it. She always had a very deep appreciation for the Koi,
believing that they were carriers of spirits. When her mother passed away, she kept Koi of her own, believing one of them was holding her mother, and she in turn would be holding her as well.

Place and why:
koiley enjoys spending her time reading at her koi pond, her koi pond often
freezes over which she thinks is stunning to see the fish freeze beneath the
ice and even more mysterious that the fish dont die from lack of oxygen or
food because there organs freeze aswell and they are preserved intill
the water it no longer frozen and then they are back to normal like they
were never frozen in time.

she enjoys doing her work, reading and drawing here. this is her place where
she collects herself and thinks, and gets frustrated when people ask her if they
can come. just know if she ever asks you to come with her to the koi pond you
mean alot to her, and she more then likely loves you because the pond is her
place to get away from reality and other things that stress her out.
