Simas #748

Postby Ember the Wolf » Thu Jun 22, 2017 4:59 am

GUYS, This is my first sima as an official artist for simas <3

Image

Simas are cat/wolf creatures basically. Their paws resemble a wolves while their body structure
could resemble a cat. Simas are also known as 'Sword Mammels'. This name comes from their tail.
The tail is the most important part of a Sima's body. They resemble a sword most of all. They are
thick and fluffy at the base and when the go down the tail, it gets thinner then widens into two
tail guards like the guards on a sword. The jewel acts like the blade.

Diary of a Drag Queen (RANDOM EXTRA):

Dear Diary,

I always wanted to keep a diary when I was little, but... I never really got around to it. Maybe it was because I just wasn't really that motivated to. Maybe it was because I was once told that it was a very girlie thing to do. Even though we Simas... well, any of us can be together, any of us can have children together, there are some stigmas that still exist, some things that are more associated with certain genders, I guess. Too bad that no one really fits into boxes.

That said, should I... introduce myself? I mean, I know who I am, Diary, but I wonder if that's how you do things... My name is Anselm. That's just as well, but Ann and Anna are equally acceptable. When I'm dressed up, Princess Annatica or Princess Anna are used. I suppose you could say that they're my stage names. At any rate, any of those things are fine to call me. I don't mind. Since my hobby is dressing in drag, well, many assume that I identify as a female, but that's not necessarily the case. I feel like I'm definitely male, I just happen to love dressing up in such a way from time to time. Is there any shame in that?

Since I was just a kit, I took an interest in make up and pretty clothes. All things that sparkle and glitter, I thought they were beautiful. I still remember trying to wear eye shadow for the first time. I'd picked this mid-shade blue color and caked it on so much that it was awful
and didn't even come out of my fur for a few days. I'd try on my mother's things, too. Her pretty ribbons, jewelry, hair accessories, things like that. Anything I could get my paws on, really.

It wasn't until I was older that I really got into it, though. It really got started, I think, the first time I cosplayed as a female character for a local convention. Through that first experience, I found out that I loved it. There were plenty of other Simas, too, who enjoyed my cosplay. Just their simple comments of, "You look amazing!" and things of the like, I took them as encouragement. I probably really needed it, thinking back on it now.

After that, I opened up to wearing make up outside of cosplay, and I began to grow out my hair a bit and style it in a more feminine way. Eventually, I took to dressing up entirely, with sparkly, over the top dresses and a crown on special occasions. Or, well, I made it a special occasion by doing so, even if it was just going for stroll.

Thinking back on it, I often got mistaken for a girl, simply because of the colors of my fur. As I possibly had choice to decide what I how I would look when I was born. Some Simas would make fun of me for it, when I was growing up. But, you know what? I love how I look. Boy, girl, there is no right way to be either gender, or any gender, for that matter.

Dear Diary,

Today, I want to talk a little about my roommates, Amery and Arsen. From what I know, Amery lived alone at first in this big house, but through random chance, he met Arsen, whom happened to be looking for a new place to stay. He invited him to crash at his place for awhile, and... he just ended up staying. Amery invited him to, of course. He's not the kind of guy that would impose on someone entirely uninvited.

It's kind of funny, though. Amery is asexual, and Arsen is pansexual. I saw a joke online that there should be a story about two roommates with such sexualities, and it could be called something like, "All or Nothing." I wonder if that applies to them. I can say for sure, though, that they aren't romantically involved. They don't look at each other that way, nor do they look at me that way. We're just good friends.

I ended up living with them since they decided to put out an ad for a third roommate, since they had an extra room still. I guess, originally, Amery was really set on keeping at least his home to himself, but having Arsen around warmed him up to the idea of having others around. It's fun living together with friends. As long as we don't push him when he feels like being left alone, that is. We definitely respect each others boundaries.

But, yeah, they were looking for a roommate, and I really wanted to get out on my own, pursue my own dreams, be myself without having to hear things I didn't want to hear from those that didn't support me back home. They were very understanding and accepting of me, for me. They actually support my hobbies and my choices. They're great. One of these days, we'll all have to cosplay together. We haven't decided what or when, but I don't doubt that it will happen.

It's pretty funny that we all have names that start with 'A,' too. Amery, Arsen and Anselm. Triple A. I wonder if we could come to be called that? It's kind of lame, but kind of really cool, too.

Arsen really likes dragging the two of us out to dance parties and concerts, if we let him. He loves going out and partying. In fact, that's how he welcomed me in the house. We had a little dinner party thing, just the three of us. There was music playing the whole time, but we didn't really dance. Amery gave me a coffee mug as a welcome gift. I didn't have much in the way of those things when I first moved in and, he's someone that collects coffee mugs, so he thought it was the perfect gift for me.

I'm so glad that I moved here and made these friends.

Dear Diary,

There is this local library that I visit often. Well, Amery goes there even more often than I do, he's the one that showed me where it was when I first moved in. Anyways, they do these events where kits come and visit and are read to. You know, story time at the library. Seeing it, I had this brilliant idea, and I contacted the head librarian to ask if I could participate, too.

Thing was, I really wanted to do it while dressed up in my princess character, and they were totally for it! Children would love being read to by a princess, after all! At least, that was the idea. I was pretty nervous the first time, but all of the kits were so happy to meet Princess Anna! It made me so happy! They called me beautiful and complimented my hair and my clothes. They were super sweet. Of course, I told them that they all, too, could be princesses or princes, if they wanted. It's true that kits are so much more easily accepting of things than many adults are. I think it's great for them to be exposed to lots of different things at a young age, too. I want them to grow up to be however they want to be, whatever they feel is best for them. To be themselves. I want to express that.

It was so successful, that I go there weekly now, and the library is thinking about reaching out to find a few others that want to read to the kids with me, too. We get a good crowd, so they think it'd be good to make it a bigger event, if at all possible. I'm looking forward to the days ahead!
