What are Khimaira Friesians?
    Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

Favorite Vaca spot/Why?: Mine would probably have to be the little village my family lives in in Germany. Going there is like a trip back in time with all of the Renaissance Era churches and castles nestled in a valley pocket surrounded by fields and mountains. Everything is perfectly preserved and very rarely is there 'city noise' to irritate anyone. People are friendly, the weather is nice, and, although they still have modern modes of entertainment like tv and phones, they are rarely needed or used because there is so much to explore. It's a whole new world and the energy and history of the place keeps it alive and exciting! I love country settings and I love history so to me that place will always be my favorite Vaca spot <3

Favorite Vaca spot/Why?: Well, My family doesn't often go on far away vacations, but I really like visiting forests. There are few colors of green that match the color of sunlight shining through leaves. The sound of the wind and birds, and all of the leaves and ferns on the ground. Where I live there are also some places with huge mossy glacier rocks that you can walk across and jump from one to the other.

Favorite Vaca spot/Why?: Most definitely the beach. There's so much to do, but you don't have to do anything. You can read, you can build sandcastles (I'm a master, feel free to challenge me on that!) or swim in the ocean, you can go looking for seashells or mussels or kelp. You can watch the sun set, or the moon rise. You can watch storms out at sea. You can lay on the beach, you can draw pictures in the sand or just dig your toes in it.
I absolutely love the beach.

Favorite Vaca spot/Why?: would have to be canyons in general. we have more than enough around where i live, and i can say with out a doubt that the sight of being above a canyon and looking down never gets old. it's peaceful, therapeutic even, being at the top. vultures and other birds are always flying at eye-level with you when you're above the canyon, and the difference in plant life above and below is completely amazing. i also really enjoy hiking up to the spot we want to be at. hiking makes you more aware of your surroundings and forces you to flow with the land to get up eaiser. canyons are just great in general.

Also known as the High Country, its a gorgeous place, that just feels wild. It's the home of so many amazing creatures, and is the home of my favourite series of books from childhood- 'The Silver Brumby'. As suggested, its where the wildest brumbies roam, and I feel free in the fresh, cold and clear air!
