Ester doesn't actually have any piercings; the items are merely hooked onto his ear and nose. He's still a bit young and a bit too scared of the needle to actually go through with any piercings at the moment. He's got bells and metal beads on the thread to catch everyone's attention more quickly, and has tassels to seem more formal.
