As the line ahead moved steadily forward, Scribbles decided to take a little glance around and see what else was on display; there was a stand for fresh roast corn, those twirly-whirly tornado potatoes, and... COTTON CANDY? Sweet sugar on a stick, drool almost flowed from his maw like the slippery slide he'd just encountered, watching the candy-vendor twirl a cone around a seemingly empty vat, silken threads of spun sugar creating a fluffy cloud of deliciousness on its end, before the vendor grem handed it to an eagerly waiting youngster. Oh the sugar, oh the soft, melt-in-your-mouth sugar! Scribbles had almost reached the front of the line for corn dogs, but the sweet delicacy was tempting him relentlessly. Should he wait for later and get a meal now? Or succumb to the tantalizing temptation of pure unadulterated candy joy? (140/50)

Scribbles groaned quietly, he just could not decide between a corn dog and cotton candy. In the end, he thought that the cotton candy would spoil his appetite and that it's better to try some of these "famous corn dogs" first. The songrem preparing the food looked out the front and asked what Scribbles wanted. "I'll have one corn dog please." He replied and put some money on the counter, the older songrem went off to cook-up his magically delicious food. A few minutes later he came back with a steaming corn dog, and it looked so yummy! Scribbles reached out his paws to grab it, and a heartbeat later it was already half-eaten.

He wolfed down the corn dog, it was so good! The best corn dog he'd ever eaten! Even if he's only had two before this one... nevermind that, he had to get more! He scrambled to find the rest of his money, And sprinted over to where he'd bought it, asking if $2.25 was enough for another delicious corn dog. "Not quite", the cook replied, "you would need another 25 cents." Scribbles frantically looked if he had more, then, dissappointed, walked away. Then, he spotted it as a metal glint caught his eye; a quarter, right in front of him. And just when he reached down to pick it up... bam! A songrem walking by kicked it. Running after it, he tried to locate where it had landed. He had to get that coin!

Scribbles looked around frantically, that coin was nowhere in sight. Then a glimpse of light captured his attention, the coin was reflecting sunlight! He looked in its direction, it was just kicked under a hot dog stand. Oh great. He dove straight for it, almost knocking the whole stand over in the process.

A shout went out as the angry songrem running the booth, an elderly but surprisingly quick songrem, jumped in surprise and growled at the culprit. Scribbles, now on the ground with dust raising around him, grinned up nervously at the old songrem. "I just... dropped my coin you see." He said, fumbling to reach the quarter.

The elderly grem huffed and rolled her eyes, flicking her toes against the coin to launch it right into Scribbles' outstretched paw. He could have cried for joy. "Oh thank you," he breathed, gaze glued to the quarter as he made a hasty retreat back to the corndog stand. He nearly shoved the money into the vendor's outstretched paw, toes tapping in anticipation as the savory treat was lifted over the counter and into his possession. A thought flashed into his mind as he held it, the smell wafting into his nostrils temptingly, thinking 'maybe I should try to savor it this time'. He had already devoured half of the fried feast without even noticing. (115/50)

Wandering away from the food court, half-eaten corndog in hand, Scribbles slowed down a bit and took his next bite. Even while on his second one, it was still delicious. He decided to relax on one of the pool chairs while he ate. Even with his slower pace, the corndog was gone in no time. With a small huff, he looked up to the others enjoying the water. Giving a hum of thought, the songrem wondered if that whole "wait twenty minutes before swimming" thing was accurate. It seemed like far too long. What else could he do?

Scribbles yawned, his eyes closing until his vision was all black. He turned onto his side and used his paws as a pillow. The time was passing fast while Scribbles was asleep, he barely closed his eyes and when he opened them the sun was setting. How long was I asleep? There was a piece of paper on the floor under the chair, he reached with his paw to grab it and read it immediately. Sunset fireworks?! Scribbles sat up on the chair and stretched, looking up at the sky.

Staring at the sky, he waited for the colorful explosions. And... BOOM! Scribbles heard little screeches of delight from little Grems. Everyone stared at the sky in wonder as the sun set, painting the sky oranges, pinks and purples. The colors exploded in the sky, and all the Songrems at the waterpark gazed at the beautiful sight in the darkening sky. So beautiful...
