What is a Pillowtail?
A Pillowtail is a Puma like creature with horns and an EXTREMELY fluffy tail,
they are passive creatures and very loving. If you don't love them they'll make
you love them!! The types they come in are: Munchkin, HyperFluff, Monster,
Chibi and Ultradorable. So look out for those fluffy marks on the bottom of all

aradia has synesthesia, specifically chromesthesia, which means she associates sounds with colors. certain songs and sounds make her feel yellow, happy, excited, while others make her red hot and angry, or blue and grief-stricken. she often listens to music just to see how it makes her feel, but there is one song she's never been able to correctly assign a color to.

synesthesia. the song with the same name as her "condition."

she might've found it ironic if it didnt frustrate her that she couldnt properly grasp her emotions well-enough to place any specific color(s) to the song. she will sometimes sit for hours, absolutely perplexed, emotionally drained, and completely stumped because of this song. sometimes it fills her with joy and inspires her to create, to do something meaningful that day, while other times she feels a great sadness coming from the lyrics that she cant explain.

this inability to be categorized--almost a refusal, in her eyes--is what draws her to this song so intensely, makes it her favorite song she's ever listened to. it thrills and excites her, maddens and confuses her, and she loves how smooth and calm it is while still being upbeat and inspiring.

the story behind it; cotton really likes colorful things. and seafood, especially shrimp. and breaded shrimp! mm, breaded shrimp. they're also kind of convinced flamingos aren't a real thing, they're just a lawn ornament. nobody has the heart to correct them. ah, the innocence of youth. as for the song, cotton is a strong believer in equality and would definitely go to protests if they could actually hold a sign. cotton also just loves everybody, like the song suggests, which is why they like it so much. they feel like it was written for them! cotton is a very positive person and tries their best to improve peoples day, even if its just a simple gesture like a compliment. given, their compliments are usually awkward in nature, something like, "that hats crooked but its also cool so you look cool!" but thats just cotton.

She found it while she was sitting doing her homework one night while listening to the radio. She immediately connected to it and decided that it was going to be her own personal theme song. It became her happy song, the song she would always turn to when she needed a song to make her happy once more.
