ohh man this took me all day, with a final and a head ache getting in the way but I honestly love this python dog's colors + overall design

anyway, this is the 'sub-type' although it's more of a breed/race of python dog that inhabits the more tropical areas of where python dogs live, they're characterized by the crocodile snout + usually have some kind of fur tuft/spike/horns that resembles a fin or on a rare occasion some will be found with gills or actual fins!
This one seems to have a lot of fur and large fishy tail.

Hexa loves these weird, sweet, seed filled things even though they come from plants that grow in a climate that's way drier than where she prefers to dwell. She doesn't get them often, but when she does it's usually because a traveling friend found some and decided to ship it over to her. She'll eat every part of the fruit (other than the spines), and likes swallowing the seeds even though her teeth can't really handle chewing on them.
