xxxxxCollecting outdated technology: He has a wide collection of items like rotary phones, typewriters, films, jukeboxes, almost anything that you couldn't see being in a modern house. Some of them are just decorative, others function as well as they did when they were made.
xxxxxInterior decorating: He organizes these items room-by-room in order of the years they were produced in, for example; 20's, 30's, etc and decorates the rest of the room the way a house from that time would've been decorated. Some pieces of furniture are original, while others are reproductions or just fit the style. He often gets asked to decorate sets for movies or TV shows.
xxxxxPainting/refurbishing: Sometimes he finds appliances or furniture that are the style, but not quite the color he's looking for. He'll often take the time to repaint these items or replace pieces of them to get things the way he wants. He pays attention to every little detail and tries to give the items a very authentic look as well as a touch of his own style.
xxxxxGhost hunting: When he's not working on his decorating skills, he'll often take a trip to a haunted place, whether it be the stereotypical haunted mansion or a battlefield from a war long ago. He firmly believes that ghosts exist and is set out to prove it to the world.
xxxxxProblem solving/giving advice: If someone's having a problem, he's the first one they go to for help. He always thinks things out logically and tries not to let emotions get in the way, so he always comes up with the 'uninvolved third party' advice, even if someone he knows is involved in the matter.
xxxxxDetective stories: Rainy day? Not a problem! He also enjoys a good read, typically favoring mystery novels or detective magazines.
