However, unlike the red string of fate, the silver string of time ties people together within the past, the present, and the future, as well as inbetween the three.) *made this up! It's not a real thing ^^' *
--A masquerade mask (personality is well hidden, and when he puts on a "mask", or a facade, he becomes someone completely new. He easily lies and has no problem charming anyone out of anything, nor does he find it a difficult task to do so.)

Shine Explanation:

Dagda is a biologist who focuses on biological engineering and the editing of the Genome/DNA. He
strives and has invested his entire life to helping cure cancers and genetic disorders. He himself
has a genetic disorder, though not a fatal one. He has vitiligo, a condition where the skin/fur looses
its pigment (you can see it on his paws and face). Though his affliction is not deadly, there are so
many more who suffer from worse and he wants to help them with all his might. His dream is to one
day be able to rid the world of all sickness. He knows this will not happen in his lifetime, but he
hopes to lay the groundwork for brighter and better minds that follow and finish his dream.

Shine Explanation:

Dekka is an old soul. By an old soul I mean to say her soul is old as time itself. During her first life she committed great crimes, these deeds were not taken lightly though, and she was cursed to be reborn over and over until the end of time. This was done so that she may never truly be at peace in the underworld. The phoenix is a bird that is reborn from their own ashes, much like what this curse is causing to her.

Filigree - ornamental work of fine (typically gold or silver) wire formed into delicate tracery.

For one with such opulence she is so delicate; an intricate being with an incredible capacity for empathy.
XXThe bleak cold manor offered little solace to Theodosia the months following her mother's death. The intricate filigree designs were always present in her childhood but it wasn't until the many hours Theodosia and her father spent outside her ill mother's door did she first take notice. The gold lining the doors and railings of the mansion became the only thing in her life that glinted; running her fingers across the swirling vines became a sort of therapy.
Theodosia's father loves her dearly but fears losing her as well. She is the light of his life and tea time with her is both of their favourite moments of the day. He worries when she leaves the house unaccompanied, so Theodosia spends most of her time in their manor's library studying and reading about happy endings.
