What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

What makes you happy?: every time I play the drums, it makes me feel so happy, because I'm doing two things that makes me really happy - one, enjoy music, and two, serve God. I started learning drums only based on my interest in it, but subsequently, I was placed in the worship band as a drummer, and ever since, I've loved drumming even more than when I first started out. I love the drums also because it makes be forget about everything else, if I focus really hard on the beat. What makes you happy?: What makes me happy is going to my barn in spring. The barn I ride at is very beautiful in the spring, and the drive up is shads by the numerous trees in the property. When you get to my barn (there are multiple on the property) you can see every inch of the land, as it is located on the top of the hill. The rolling green landscape dogged with horses fills my heart with joy, seeing these beautiful creatures interact with humans and each other. I can't even begin to describe how amazing it is when I see the lush paddock dotted with buttercups as I mount my horse every week.

For me personally animals make me the happiest, this is why I am making a career out of working with animals. I am currently in college to learn how to work with a large array of wild animals and how to work with the public to make sure we always have these animals in the future. Another thing that makes me very happy is being outside in pleasant warm weather in my hammock strung up between two trees reading a good book that brings me to another world with different problems and more exciting adventures.
