If one parent has uncommon short fur, but they both have common long fur, how do you decide what the kits get?
i may not be staff, but i know that since a kalon can have shorter fur and
longer fur at the same time you just roll as normal for the shorter fur and longer fur auto passes.
heres an example of a kalon with these two edits:

(shorter fur on front of neck longer on the back of neck and stomach)

this. I was wondering if people who design this way would ever be considered as artists/guest artists, since some people just really struggle with Oekaki?
Im afraid we wouldn't usually consider a person like this! Due to previous conflicts with cover adopts and CS staff, Kalon staff have to keep adopts under a cover minimal. And hiring an artist only able to make cover adopts would do just the opposite of solving this! So sorry to those who fall under this category but Kalons are an oekaki species Im afraid.

if you've owned the kalon for more than a week, when it was a kit or not, it'll be able to breed if it's grown. if you just received a kalon that was a kit and you've grown it, you must have had it for at least a week before you could breed it.
sorry if my wording is a little confusing!
I think I get it! Thank you!

out of curiosity, I have a situation for a two-parent nursery batch.
Ok so like Person A: cooldown up. Person B: still on cooldown for a few weeks. Person C: cooldown up.
Person A & Person B want to breed one each of their kalons with each other.
Is it possible for Person C to "give" their cooldown to Person B, so Person A & Person B can have a nursery batch right away? And then Person C has to wait the same cooldown as Person A before they can breed their own kalons?

Nope! Im afraid cooldowns cannot be transferred! A cooldown is specific to a certain person and cannot be sped up, skipped or traded. Person B is going to have to wait until theyre cooldown is finished!
