On first glance, one might mistake Fenrir to be a hellish beast. This simply isn't so. He is, in fact, a spirit, one who represents youth, life, and rebirth. He values the natural world, though this is not what he patrons to. Rather, he is patron to the young, be them sprouting seeds or a new born deer. He ensures they are safe until adulthood. Then, he watches from a distance. When something dies, he guides their soul to a newly made life, allowing them to be reborn. While he does take issue with the destruction of forests, it is not within his power to stop that. His role his to provide new life to replace what is lost, not to stop that cycle all together. Going against his role would result in more cataclysmic events, perhaps the loss of life itself.
Put simply, Fenrir is calm, cool, and collected. He mediates often, allowing him to maintain his enlightened state. He harbors no hate for anything, as what happens simply pertains to the role someone is playing in the world. Hating them for what they were meant to do would be a crime in itself. He is fond of balance in the world, and believes that a shift in it would bring about the end of days. Even the most balanced of things loose it, though. He doesn't doubt that the balance will be lost someday, nor is he fearful of it. There is nothing to be done once the story has been written and published.

Vanhur is quiet, though not for lack of thought. They do not desire conversation, and find it to be a waste of precious time and energy. He is often seen as cold, unfeeling, but it is simply because he desires to put the mission before all else. He is not particularly friendly, though that isn't to say he shuts down all efforts of friendship. He is prone to finding himself easily attatched to others without realizing it, particularly his family. He may never express gratitude or much in terms of affection, but he certainly appreciates his companions and their ongoing presence.
