Tracker Dog you want:
Number 27
Name you'll give it:
Kai
Reason for the name:
Kai means water, and his colors make me think almost instantly of water and ice. He loves to be in water, no matter the temperature.
Reason why you want it:
The light colors appeal to me, as water is my element. He reminds me of a crystal clear brook just after all the ice has melted away.
Will it be used in any kind of story?
Probably. I haven't quite decided yet.
Describe its personality:
Kai is the type of tracker dog that he only really connects to one person. He is extremely loyal to that person, and will face death to save them. Kai is a strict on manners and respect, and commands it for himself and for his person. He is affectionate, but this is usually only for his person. He is always polite, but those he hasn't connected with will almost feel a chill come from him. Kai loves to work, and is often used for snow rescues in the ski resorts of Colorado. He is also used during the summer months when hikers go missing. He is tenacious and stubborn, and will not give up when he is working, especially when children are involved. He is a good guard dog as well, although he isn't happy if that is his only job. Kai doesn't enjoy playing that much, he finds it a waste of time and energy that could be used for working. He isn't tolerant of other dogs, or really other animals in general.

Write an introduction for your Tracker:
I admit it, I was frantic. My daughter had gone out hiking with her friends four days ago, and I still hadn't heard from them. The police had been searching, but their dogs couldn't handle the steep terrain, so they called Nex. I'd heard of her, and her tracker dogs, although I'd never seen one. They were calling in Kai, a new one of her creations to find her. My heart was in my throat as the police van pulled up to my house. As the door slid open, I almost expected to see a three-headed monster jump out. Instead, there was Kai. He was absolutely beautiful. Although he had no eyes, he looked directly at me, his large ears focused on me. His pelt was absolutely beautiful, the pools of blue white and purple perfectly suited for one another. His long legs were slim, but muscular and I knew he'd have about as much trouble as a mountain goat navigating those steep inclines and sudden drops in the moutains. As the police walked towards me, I got the feeling that Kai was more focused than his human counterparts on his duty. They stopped in front of me and I glanced at the officer, waiting for him to speak. I was shocked when a deep voice came from what seemed to be the ground. "Ma'am, my name is Kai. I promise you, I will find your daughter, but first, I need her scent. Would you be so kind as to bring me something of hers?" I nodded and ran to grab her favorite sweatshirt. I held it out to him and he inhaled deeply, then immediately began to track. "Kai, not here. I'm going to take you to the trail head and from there you can track." He agreed and they climbed into the van, heading to find my daughter.
The unfamiliar turf beneath my paws was not a problem as I tracked the vanilla-laden scent of Amelia Wolfe. Aged seventeen, missing for four days. The facts chased themselves around my head like a bored dog chasing its tail as I followed the scent trail. I'd been on the job for over an hour, and was finally getting close, I could sense it. Suddenly the scent veered off and I went to follow it, noticing the sudden incline beneath my paws. I knew that something had gone very wrong as blood began to mingle with the scent I was tracking, so I picked up my pace. Not fifteen minutes later, I heard a faint call for help, so I broke into a run. The trail and the calls led to a tiny ledge, and there was where I found her, bleeding, cold and hungry. She wrapped her arms around my neck as the officers carefully approached, happy to see the young lady alive.
Two Years Later
I lounged in my bed, my head on my paws as my ears kept track of everything going on around me. There was Amelia, my person, laughing at something her mother said. There was the annoying sound of their cat meowing for food and the ringing of the phone. Amelia answered it and grew quiet, and my sensitive hearing picked up the male voice on the other end. "Mia, there's been another avalanche. The other dogs can't get in. We need Kai." I wagged my tail and got to my paws, stretching. I knew what that meant. I was about to go save someone else's life.
