In his simplest form, cato is the type of guy most would prefer to avoid. He does have a tendency to be on the grumpy side and has a very, very short fuse. His tough outer shell is more often a barrier than anything, but underneath, he's as fluffy as his pelt.

If you spend enough time around Cato, you'll notice that he tends to be quiet, using the minimum amount of words possible to get his message across. He often distances himself from others and won't speak unless spoken to. Most will just assume that he's shy and has trouble expressing himself, or that he's socially awkward. But in actuality, cato can be very manipulative and has no trouble using his honey-dipped words to get what he wants. cato often stays quiet to stay out of trouble, since he has a temper and gets annoyed easily. For the most part, cato keeps his "true" self hidden under his moody shell, only letting a select few know what's underneath.

If you do manage to earn cato's trust, you'll learn that he is a loyal and protective man. For the few that have his trust, Cato would do anything for them. He'd never admit it, but those friends are close to his heart, and they mean a lot to him, even if he doesn't show it. When riled up, cato often says what's on his mind, along with being aggressive. Often, when cato gets worked up about something, his emotions will hinder his conscious, causing him to follow his instincts and be rather impulsive. This can be dangerous, both for him and the person who caused his anger. Those who will be annoyed by Cato should probably just go, and not respond to the lip that he will give.

Cato hasn't been the noble, perfect role model he knew he should've been. Involved with gangs, theft and greed at a young age, these customs are still instilled within him, along with irritability and mood swings. he is brash and blunt, preferring not to hold any words back, even if they may hurt, causing him to have rocky and unstable relationships with others. manipulation is also another, unfortunate, skill instilled in cato, often malleating his personality to get what he wants, batting those big, innocent eyes to whomever is in the immediate vicinity. unlike the past, cato can hold his temper much better than he had been before, though not by much, and his knuckles are scarred from where they kissed the skin of others. While his current ways have been long drilled into his weary bones, cato is trying to improve from his past, however, his efforts haven't made much progress. He hurts more than he helps, and does have occasional fits of destruction.

Cato, while having a rough start, is slowly getting his life together. He's found a way to channel his anger on another person, and have it be okay. You see, Cato is a professional boxer. He found a healthier, more competitive way to release his energy. He trains vigorously, especially when he's mad. He usually doesn't converse with his opponents, but will definitely rematch with them out of the ring. cato isn't a sore loser, and he's not one to boast, he does it for the pure exhilaration of releasing his pent up frustrations. He couldn't care less if he won or lost, just as long as the twitching stopped, his thirst quenched.
