"Why are you so mad all the time??"

Grasser’s lack of sleep makes him angry most of the time.
Lack of sleep deprives his conscious mind of this precious rest period. By not sleeping or
sleeping little, his conscious mind remains tired and this hampers its tasks the next day.
He becomes more of a monster and irritable when he lacks sleep.
He’ll start arguments or fights due to his tired mind. Others do tell him to sleep more but
Grasser seems to refuse, not minding the kind of attitude he gets without sleep;
that just kind of makes him who he is. Grasser does know it’s bad self care for not sleeping
but he’s used to it; no one could really tell him otherwise unless it’s a loved one,
even then he just barely listens to them.
All in all, there is not much else to blame for his anger issues other than the lack of sleep.

Oh my- where do I start? I have not slept in two days, the weather is making my hair frizzy, it is the worst. I've been waiting for a package that should've been delivered four days ago - somebody stole it for sure - and this morning the fruit juice I needed so badly was spoilt. Can you believe that? The package said it should be fresh untill next month. Why would you lie about that? Don't even get me started about that rude guy who catcalled me this morning. Now don't give me that look, if you were me you would be grumpy too. I mean; look at my fur, look at it!. I'll never get it look good with this weather. Urg, I need a cup of tea and some chocolate. Oh no... don't tell me we're all out of chocolate!"

Why they're grumpy: I trudged through the dense woodland, annoyed. Not only was I sleep deprived and stressed out, I could feel a migraine coming on. Just what I needed. I could barley see the thick darkness. I was going on a nice summer hike just a few hours ago, eager to get home. It was supposed to take my mind of the ever closer math finals. I couldn't wait to get back and go to sleep, but lucky me: I got separated from my friends and have no flipping idea where I am. I was originally trying to retrace my paw steps, but now since it is so dark, I'm just fumbling blindly though the darkness. I was getting eaten alive by mosquitoes, and had starches up my legs and arms from stray branches. This was going to be a fun, long night. Great.

Actually, on second thought, insulting anything of his
isn’t that big of a deal compared to the much more
horrendous act: insulting his nail polish. For someone
who takes his nails very seriously, even spending hours
on creating different designs, a simple insult like
“your nails are ugly” will deeply offend him. Not only
will it offend him, however, but it will potentially affect
his entire day, leaving him in a foul mood and deem him
unapproachable to others.
Perhaps Nine is a bit more insecure than he is grumpy?
His feelings are hurt due to his passion having been insulted
so cruelly. Maybe a bit of support will help him feel better?
