my new job, isn't going very smoothly. i mean, it never really was "smooth",
but right now it just seems to getting worse.. it's not like i dislike my job--
it's just, uh, i really don't know. i'll just explain the entire predicament.
where to begin? ah-- my partner which the organization paired me with..
charlie. well, you know that we don't get along very well. it's just
miserable, honestly; and i bet he'd say the same. we're always just arguing
over plenty of things all the time-- neither of us can ever catch a break.
he is admittedly good at what he does-- hacking and coding, but it's just--
hard to be around him. like his jokes are terrible-- they don't make any
sense, at all! also, to me it just seems like he doesn't care. he's just way
too laid-back and just gives me a sense.
anyway, so, obviously i'm not too fond of charlie and vise versa. and
here's where it gets worse. so, there's a inner conflict within our
detective agency; there was a great division among everyone as they all
picked their own sides. the problem here is this: a kalon-- i'll refer to her
as the lady-- had sadly taken her own life, and can even be proven by a
note written by herself, which another kalon-- let's call him person a--
had found.
but, the thing is that there just might be more to it-- as believed by
some other kalons. so, another guy-- person b-- was apparently present
at scene post-death. he said he had seen person a there, absconding;
which had caused person b to believe that person a might've killed the
lady. and since person a is a master forger, person b believes that they
had just forged the lady's note. but, the thing about this side of the
spectrum is that person b failed to gather any solid evidence, and person
b and person a do have some negative bias on each other. so it's difficult
as to decide whether to believe him or not.
both person a and person b are of high ranking within the agency, and
both have excellent qualities and skill, but once this case has been
solved, one will have to leave and lose their job permanently.. as of
now there truly is no clear or correct solution, until someone gets onto
this difficult case and uncovers the truth. easier than said than done,
clearly. but, the case really interests me.. i'd like to take on the
challenge myself, personally.
the thing about this all is that it's not only having effect on person
a and person b, but everyone within the agency. everyone is talking
about it and they all need and want to find out who's at fault here.
people have divided, as i said before, and hopped onto one side or the
other. it's a huge debate, and this division is causing people to go
against one another whether it be passive-aggressively or just to plain
out ignoring each other.
and it just so happens that charlie, who basically holds every
opposing view of my own, agrees with person b. our small team of the
two of us was already poorly functioning, and now it seems completely
broken. we sparsely talk to one another, always ignoring each other..
and..
oh, what's the point? and that's all that should be said on the matter, if
not more. i wrote more than i had intended-- no need to be pouring all
my heart into here. let's just see how this goes.
