The coolest of cucumbers and the most lazy out of the bunch is, Barbados.
This kit takes chilling out to a whole new level. While the rest of her family is active and a bit louder, Barbados takes her sweet time devouring sweets and sliding into action when needed. Her relaxed demeanor and almost carefree attitude make her a rather good kit to talk to at times. However, this demeanor means it's high near impossible to get her up and ready for the day especially if she's being particularly stubborn. If you're not careful she'll drag herself back to bed. She's a complainer too of every little thing when she's passive aggressive and her sarcasm is a constant companion when she's agitated. It is surprisingly not very difficult to get under her skin. Her calm and relaxed demeanor aside, she can be rather stand-offish or cold to those who she thinks "did me wrong".

Still despite this, Barbados is a good kid deep down, she just prefers not to have to deal with things that ard stressful. But there's a secret even Barbados holds to herself.

In school, Barbados sleeps through the class everyday, and yet has exemplary test scores. She barely pays attention to the lectures and tunes it out. Her papers are exemplary. She's uninterested in anything to do with working hard or doing her best. Her reading and math skills are superb. Needless to say the teachers find it baffling! But young Barbados has no answer she's willing to give up and shrugs to every 'parental' conference she's dragged to. It's frustrating for the teachers and amusing for her and her parents are proud of her and really that's all she cares about. Still it's nice to take a cat nap every now and then.

She's got a big heart and a calm vibe and often reacts better even under pressure than most.

The parents
Damu (Avery)
Barbados thinks of Avery as the 'cool ' one. She loves to people watch at the bar and the two make up stories about every poor soul there which can lead to some fun times. As for at home Barbados slips up and calls them dad even though that's typically a Rufus-Barbados thing but her usual name for Avery is "Damu" a mixture of the words mum + dad since in her mind Avery is a parent and those are parent names so combining the two words just seems like logic. Since there's nothing she knows about gender identity besides that other people (outside their family) have a hard time grasping the simplest concepts she tries her best to understand . To put it simply if that's what her Damu wants to be then there's no reason they shouldn't be. As far as she's concerned Damu just sounds cooler than mum and dad and she's not comfortable calling Avery by their first name like that. Damu Avery and Barbados also are known to tag team Rufus in snatching up tasty snacks but it's all in good fun. Besides that she goes to them when she needs a good talk or two and when she has big questions but no answers. Especially about the world.

Rufus Now Rufus on the other hand is like a mother hen and Barbados loves to curl up beside him if he's working in the kitchen, her favorite spot in the house. Of course she knows better than to think he'll be able to stay there but a sneaky bite or two of those yummy treats he made make up for it a little. When not watching her dutiful cook and waiting for the opportunity for a little snack, Barbados spends her time in the backyard quietly observing the place. Occasionally she'll invite Rufus to join her knowing more than anyone of her siblings how tiring being around them all can get so taking some time to relax is pretty important.


The Siblings
Elliot They get along but just barely. Barbados hates his spoiled nature but she supposes she likes him well enough. While it's hard to get along with him when he's being insufferable. She may play a few tricks on him here and there just to shake things up a little. Nothing too bad of course but anything to get him to be something other than a baby. The two fuss and bicker often and sometimes Elliot does go too far, but even though he's a jerk to her more than others Barbados is the first one to defend him when bullies first started picking on them in school and as of right now they both have a long way to go but Elliot has been oddly nicer as of late. So much so that Barbados has begun to snap him with captions like 'The wild Elliot' or '#mostannoyingestbrother and he seems to trend which is something she didn't expect. Huh.

Cody Unlike with Elliot, Cody is someone Barbados can tolerate. At the very least even though he can be annoying with how loud he is, she can say he means well. Cody is sweet and Barbados can sometimes get him to calm down long enough to have fun with him. The two aren't as close as Barb is to Zachary, but they're closer than one would think. Barbados always lets Cody know what a star he is and in return Cody shows Barbados how to show off the right amount of flair. Sometimes you can catch them on Damu Avery's phone playing around on an app named snapchat though Cody may take things a little far when it comes to pictures. Rufus always saves them when he spots their notifications.

Zach The most similar in personality with this lot, Barbados and Zachary are two siblings who are very close. While not too physical like the rest Zachary knows where Barbados' interests lie at heart. Likewise she tries to keep things settled for him, knowing how bad he reacts to disruptions or worse. It was her idea of having a 'quiet place'. A quiet place is just that. A place where one is comfortable that is quiet. She's made several places she knows the others won't bother with quiet places and when she knows Zachary needs to be alone or for herself and often she'll make a blanket fort in those places with comic books and games and some snacks. Zach, unlike Cody, won't do snapchat as much with her but the two of them still have their pictures save in Rufus's phone.

Personality ::
Glory is a bit self-absorbed. She loves it when things are about her, and easily jealous when someone else is getting more attention than her. She is a bit vain, and hates it when others point this out. Glory is also an extrovert. She loves to talk and make her opinions heard. It's very hard for her to stay quiet and she is very energetic. Glory almost never breaks the rules, unless it is on accident. She has been described as a tattle tale, which annoys her very much. Confident and strong, Glory is never shy and enjoys meeting new kalons. She loves being right and has trouble admitting when she's wrong. She is feisty and brave and never gives up.

Relationships with family

-Avery-
Glory enjoys spending time with Avery. Though she's still not 100% sure what to call them, she's hoping to discuss with her siblings. One way that Glory connects with Avery is that they both love to talk. She'll spend hours talking with Avery about her day, her life, and her interests. Glory likes to come down to Avery's bar and meet new kalons. That's the main reason Glory loves Avery's bar, all the new kalons and friendly faces and the attention towards her and her parent.

-Rufus-
Glory and her father are very different. She can't stop talking, he rarely talks at all. Despite their differences, Glory loves the way her father makes her laugh and how he makes the whole family happy. She enjoys spending time with him and helping with his edible arrangements. Glory is glad to have a father that makes her happy and loves it when she is happy. Though she doesn't connect with him as much as she connects with Avery, that doesn't mean she doesn't love him the same.

-Elliot-
Glory isn't exactly on best terms with this brother. She often argues with him, and rolls her eyes whenever he throws a tantrum. She feels he's too clingy (even though she's a bit clingy too) and is annoyed easily by him. Glory chases him often, whenever he steals something of hers or just for fun. She makes fun of him too, in sort of a brother-sister way. Though she is often loathing him, she has been able to calm him down if he's extremely scared or stressed.

-Cody-
As they both love to draw attention to themselves, Glory views her smaller brother as a bit of competition. She feels that with him trying to draw attention to himself, she must try even harder. Things often get loud when they're together, with both of them trying their best to make themselves heard. She treats him as though he's younger than her, even though they were from the same litter. She does connect with him a bit, as he's the smallest, and she's the only lady. They're both a bit different from the rest of the family, in their own way.

-Zachary-
Glory doesn't really understand Zach. She doesn't get how someone wouldn't want to be surrounded by attention and loud noises and things. I mean, in her mind, wouldn't having four ears mean more chances to hear things and draw attention to yourself? Whenever Zach says something to annoy her it often works, but when she gets mad, she's even louder than when she's calm. Her loudness often stresses Zach out, so he's sorta learned not to bug her any more. Whenever he causes trouble, it's often Glory who gets him caught. She enjoys annoying him, but will quiet down if he really needs her to.

Personality :: Erin is loud, being in a household with 4 other kits she usually feels quite overlooked and hates it, taking any opportunity to draw attention to herself. Erin is proud, confident and extremely stubborn, she uses any new word she hears as much as she can until she forgets the word. Erin is very curious and eager to learn about the world, reading books to learn new words and new things. She dearly loves her siblings and family even if she doesnt show it all the time, and often doesnt realise she is annoying them when to them it is painfully obvious. However if even a slight harsh word or one of her parents saying they are disappointed in her reaches her ears, she takes it to heart and hides herself away from the family for a few days or weeks depending on the situation. Erin is very dramatic and overreacts to many things, she doesnt care how others outside her close friends and family see her and hopes she will continue to be just as full of herself and annoying as she likes, because in the end she believes it is her life and she will do exactly what she wants to do. Her biggest fear is that the people she loves will get sick of her. Erin has the dream of becoming an actress, she adores acting even though others would tell you she is terrible at it, and always auditions for the lead roles, she never gets them and always ends up in the back of the show but she still tries. Erin is very protective of her family and close friends, if a bully were to be mean to any of her siblings or someone upset them she would be the first to know and she would be the first to send the 'offender' straight to the medical room. She is also very untrusting of new people.

Avery

-How does Erin feel about Avi?-
Avi is Erin's favorite parent, she loves to listen to them ramble and talk because Erin is a very curious and adventurous kalon. When Erin gets sent home from school for bad behaviour from a noble cause (standing up for her siblings) they are usually disappointed in Erin until she explains that she did it for a reason. Erin feels like Avi understands her more then Rufus, because under her loud, look-at-me exterior, she is quiet and rather sweet when she is listening to Avi's stories and sometimes likes to tell stories herself. Avery is the only family member to see this side of Erin and Avi hopes that one day Erin will stop trying to get everyone's eyes on her. Not until she is older though, because for now, Erin is their little bundle of energy, and they wouldn't have it any other way.

When Erin grew old enough to start calling her parents mum or dad she completely understood the fact that Avi was agender, however when she began to call Rufus 'pa' she also began to call Avery Avi, which eventually shortened to 'Vee'. When she started going to school with her siblings, she thought everyone's parents were a 'Vee' and a 'Pa', so when other kits talked about mums she didn't understand the conversation. At one point Erin came home asking Avery what a mum was and why they didn't have one, she got upset when she she thought something was wrong with her for having a 'Vee' instead of a 'Ma'. On that day Avery explained to Erin that you don't need to have a mum and a dad, some people dont even have 2 parents to look after them. Erin finished crying and began cherishing both her parents, every day she feels lucky to have them.

-How does Erin feel about Rufus?-
While Avi is the parent Erin is closer to she still loves Rufus a lot, he is kinder when she is in trouble. Since Rufus organises most of the after school activities he is the one Erin goes to when she wants to join a new drama thing or practice lines for a small production. Rufus is always at home and is therefore the first person Erin has an opportunity to talk to when she gets home from school, every day when she comes home she tells him absolutely everything, just from her explanations he knows each of her classmates without even meeting them. Sometimes Rufus used to think she was a bit of an attention-seeker and sometimes he wished she would be more laid back and keep out of other peoples business. As she grew older and gained more experience with social situations she did become slightly less attention-seeking but she is still very energetic and in-your-face, Rufus is proud of her regardless because she speaks her mind and doesn't let other kids get to her.

-How does Erin feel about Elliot?-
Erin is always up to explore and do new things with Elliot, sometimes he can be a bit rude to other kits and this causes them to dislike him and some even try to start fights, but Erin doesn't let that happen and with Elliot is possibly the only time she does something responsible like stop him from getting in a fight with someone. Even though Elliot is older then her she sometimes sees him as a younger brother if only because sometimes he can be immature and when he is immature Erin likes to act mature because it makes her feel happy and responsible when she is the mature one in the situation.

-How does Erin feel about Cody?-
Erin is quite close with Cody, he is also quite loud which means that sometimes attention is diverted to him instead of her which annoys her, if her relationship with Cody is anything its competitive, since they are both fairly immature and similar in what they want from their family members they are always trying to outshine each other in various things. Erin does love her brother and would bite anyone's ear off if they tried to hurt him, but she does enjoy winning about half of the contests they have, every week its something different which Erin enjoys as they constantly find new thing to do together which she enjoys, but obviously she would never admit she enjoys spending time with him because she is too busy assuring people she is going to win the latest contest.

-How does Erin feel about Zachary?-
Erin only really notices Zach when somebody else is talking to him. since he doesn't exactly draw attention to himself he usually doesn't get her attention, however she is very careful around him and slightly quieter then normal to him. For some reason Erin has it pinned in her mind that Zach is more fragile than her other siblings ego-wise, so she doesn't tease him about anything even in a joking sibling way. When she was younger she remembers one time shouting something very loudly and then making Zachary upset somehow. Regardless she was scolded by Avi, it was the first time anyone had told her off for anything and Avi's exact words were, "You need to be quiet around Zach, his ears are sensitive." At that point Erin didn't know what sensitive meant but she knew she was in trouble and hid in her room for a few days, upset that Avi was upset with her. She read books and researched what sensitive meant on the computer in the local library, when she discovered what it meant she created the idea in her head that Zach was just more prone to being upset then her other siblings, she never play fights with him and doesn't shout around him. If somebody were to push Zach or shout at him she would be twice as mad because she thinks he is fragile.
