Avery wrote:Avery was super excited to hear they were going to have four kits. They knew it would mean long nights and early mornings, as well as extra hours at the bar. Avi owns a bar that's pretty clean, and the children are welcome there because Avi polices the alcohol like a hawk. "No drinking til you're 30. JKJK. Once you're 18 we can talk about it." Because Avi is agender, they don't know what they want to be called as a parent, but they're allowing the kids to come up with their titles.
As Avi has grown, they find it hard to shake childish habits. While they are still friendly with most, they have a better sense of who's a baddie and who's good. When it comes to talking, they still share a bit too much, and are rather talkative. Especially when they get nervous, they babble quite a bit about random things.
When it comes to relationships, Avi is still very social, enjoying the bar scene and the company of random Kalons. They like meeting new folks and learning who they are. Some people think they pry into other's life, but they are simply curious and trying to be friendly. However, when it comes to romantic relationships, Avi stil clings to bad habits. Avi tends to go in and out of relationships rather quickly, enjoying giving and getting attention. But now, there is a yern in them. A need for something more than a shallow one night stand. They are beginning to want a partner- a best friend to come home to at night. They just have the feeling that when the special Kal comes along, their single life will be all over. But... that's not exactly a bad thing.
•Avery has sticky notes stuck around random areas of their room because their head is moving much faster than their mouth can keep up, and they often forget things.
•Avery is not a good swimmer. They love the water, and they love feeling weightless, they just simply don't have enough fat content to stay afloat.
•Given the choice, Avery prefers Fruits > Veggies > Chicken > Beef > Fish > Pork. They would become Vegetarian if they had the willpower, but they very rarely ever eat anything past beef. Chicken is their preferred meat.
•Believe it or not, Avery is very vocal about their beliefs.
•Whenever they have a chance, they will stand against Bullying, Animal cruelty, child abuse and more. They are very passionate about humanitarian efforts.
•Avery is actually really scared of ducks, because any time they go to their local pond to feed them, they swarm small children. They attempted to feed one once with her hand and the duck quickly learned that's where the food came from, and the ducks would have to come to Avery if they wanted bread. That's just what they did, and Avi was surrounded by honking ducks!
•Certain perfume or cologne smells burn their nose and give them a headache.
Rufus wrote:Rufus is the soft spoken parent who lost his mind with worry when he found out they were having four kits. Sense Rufus works from home (making edible arrangements) he knew he'd be the one spending a majority of the time with the kids. Rufus feels as though they've really raisen to the challenge with making four extra lunches and orchestrating after school activities and the like. Rufus can get a little mushy with their kids, but it's only because he's so proud of them.
Rufus is a quiet thing. He's like your everyday introvert: quiet and socially awkward. He likes to sit by himself and read, sometimes even drawing quietly. When he does talk to others, it's usually quiet, stuttering small talk. If he's drinking you can get more of a rise out of him, but he usually won't say much until he gets to know a person. At that point, he really comes alive. He'll sing and make jokes. He loves hearing people laugh, and just overall enjoys it when others are happy.
His father had a family before he came around. His sister had gotten lost and was presumably dead. This lead his dad and her mother to divorce and his father then got with his mother and had him. His father never gave up on wanting his first child back- a daughter, thus raised Rufus in a very feminine setting.
-Rufus has no clue his sister has children. When Cassidy came back to find her father, she learned that he had another kid and she became extremely jealous of Rufus, nearly hating him for getting to grow up with her dad.
-He really wants to connect to his sister, but after learning his father was a totally different man before he was born, Rufus often questions a lot of things about his family, their past, and even the past of his lover. It's hard to get over some days, but he knows that he loves Avery, and wouldn't trade them for anything.
Elliot wrote:Ellie is a bit of a problem child. He throws a fit when he doesn't get his way and he can be a little rude. But he does have his sweet moments.
**Note; He was adopted, but Avi and Rufus treat him exactly the same as a legitimate child! They would try to teach their kids that, too!**
He is an orphan. (he came from an out of character breeding)
He doesn't have a very fleshed out character yet
Elliot Chase is a problem child. He can be clingy and obsessive, and maybe even cruel. He is difficult with authority, and mean to other kits. He might not realize that what he does is wrong. He likes to steal candy and shiny things.
He can be aggressive, and bites when he's afraid. He wants friends, but doesn't put a lot of effort into maintaining friendships. Elliot is a spoiled brat and will throw a fit if he doesn't get his way. He rarely thinks about his parents.
Ellie might improve along the way, but he might end up being led down a darker path. He is kind of gullible, and could be talked into doing something he usually wouldn't if it was worded nicely and with incentives.
Cody wrote:Being the smallest in a family with five kids and growing, Cody really tries to draw attention to himself with lots of giggles and a loud speaking voice. Because he's a little 'underdeveloped' in maturity and stature, Rufus tends to fuss over him. One of his biggest fears is that he is going to be forgotten.
Zach wrote:Because of the loud noises (two ears- could you imagine?) and various personalities of the large household, Zach tends to try to blend in with the background. He is quite an introvert, and doesn't like to make much physical contact, even with his parents. He can be a bit of a trouble maker when he gets overwhelmed, and will say things just to get some of the people around him mad.
