who am i? well, thats a silly question, isn't it!
if you didn't know (which you should've!),
im aromatisse, the legend of makeup, perfume and cosplaying!
cough checkoutmyshophahah coughim a generally happy kalon, and i try my best at everything i do!! i also love motivational cat posters. maybe a little too much. anyway, i love love love dressing up! ever since i was a little kit, ive always adored putting on eccentric clothes and pretending i was a pop star, or wearing a big poofy pink dress and one of those pointy hats with beautiful silk and acted as a princess. i dont like being alone for long periods of time, which is a big weakness of mine because that means im really dependent on other kalons ): . i have quite a few friends, one of them being
lycaon, who mayyyyy be a bit of a jerk sometimes but i still love him <3 wAIT NO I MEANT AS A FRIEBD-- oops, haha (x. the thing about ly is that he lives in canada so its really hard for us to meet up irl, so we mainly talk over kik / skype /

now... onto my ~past~
. . . i was born / raised in london, specifically
kingston, though, and i was an only child. my parents were so so so so kind (they still are!) and they supported me in everything. i honestly couldn't ask for better parents!!! in school, i was always interested in art, and i thoroughly enjoyed working on mini-projects to do with it, until late highschool. gcse's had taken up my life, and studying meant barely any free-time. i hated it. but i suppose everyone hates exams, sooo;;. turns out, everything went well. i went to college and uni, and studied to get a bachelor of the arts degree. after lots of hard work, i got one! with this, i got accepted to be a highschool art teacher. most of my students were of the average teenager: lazy, bored, etc, but i could sympathise with them, for my highschool experience wasn't the best either. id like to believe being a teacher helped me become much better at dealing with kids, but eh.
after 5 years, i quit being a teacher. i started to work on my mini-projects again, and had a newfound love for makeup. searching for activities you can do in groups (like the clingy kalon i am), i found out about cosplaying. it was perfect. the love for dressing up ever since i was a kit, the arts & crafts skills i learned in primary school, the ever-growing fondness i had for makeup, when all added together, i knew i could create some amazing cosplays. "what was the first cosplay you created?", you may be asking, and i will answer that question with . . . drumroll please . . .
tsubomi hanasaki from the anime,
heartcatch precure!*sad trumpets in the distance*yup. thats right. well, i cosplayed as her magical girl counterpart, cure blossom, but still.
it was a pretty rubbish cosplay, looking back, but i still found it really fun!! i kind of got hooked on making costumes since then. recently, people have seen my shop, and they've asked me to create outfits for their movies and plays, which i thought was really cool!! i still had to turn them down, sadly, because they said that they'd pay me with "fame" or whatever, and i just think its stupid. how would you feel if it took you ages to create something, and you don't get anything back? yeah. it isn't the best, is it (: ? anyway, after creating my cure blossom cosplay, i went to the 2010 mcm london comic con. it was super fun, and i had a great time!! i met a bunch of other kalons there, and they were all really friendly Ɑ:

X X X X X X X *my attempt at a ':D' smiley. holy karmel am i annoyed that i do smilies backwards. "do them normally, then!", i hear people shouting. my response? "nah."after that, a bunch of stuff happened, i guess? lycaon came over to london for a long time (which was really awesome!!!) and stayed in my apartment, and thats basically where i am today, in 2017.
