[Stårry]

Hi guys! I'm really sorry for the delay on this judging- especially to anyone whos been anxious about it. I had gotten tons of help with this judging, and in the end James had come to my rescue due to lack of free time! As for that, I will be mainly just quoting their judging and putting in my opinions on the ones I did get the chance to read!

Judging

The three forms is came down to:

Shimmersolarpets & madras
TenguInari & Yugi
rey doodles & River Song

ShimmerSolarPets & madras.

James: I really enjoyed the stories these two wrote and how well they came together between the two forms. The chapters were really entertaining to read, and I enjoyed that it wasn't a romance story. Not that there's anything bad about that, I just didn't realize how refreshing it was to read an entire impress me based around friendship rather than heartbreak or love, until I got to reading their forms. This one was very closely tied with the winner, but I just feel like there was something missing.

My view: After reading this form, I really have to agree with the above here. There was a ton of content building on their friendship and it really had a place in my heart, I cant figure out whats leaving the empty space feeling, but if I do I'll edit it in here, to maybe help you guys out in future forms!

rey doodles & River Song

James: I really like the little animation that was done for it, and the playlist was nice to listen to. As they said, very self explanatory and pretty emotional. I won't lie and say that I was confused for a bit because I didn't realize they did their form on the same thread. They just swapped with each other to write the chapters. which is fine, I think? But it confused me at first.

My view: The animation was really cute, and I listened to the playlist while sketching out some things, which really says a lot because very few songs inspire me to draw when I've got a big art block on my back ;w; Also yes the way you two did your form was totally fine, and this form rightfully earned its place in the finals!

As for the winner, I have to go with TenguInari & Yugi

James: They both had me captivated and a bit at the edge of my seat throughout both of their stories. They were emotional and very powerful. I had to giggle at how sickeningly sweet the two were towards each other by the end, and I just really loved these forms. They flowed perfectly, the weapons were rad, the ideas were amazing, and the character development through both forms was really on point. I immensely enjoyed these stories <3
My view: I don't even think I can add anything on, but this was definitely a great read ;w; Yugi, I just gotta say since you entered both partner comps so far, just the way you do these with your partners always wows me <3 You both put in immense effort since day one, and I know you'll both be really happy with the fruits of your efforts!

Thank you so much for everyone who entered, and the judging really has no excuse for being so late, I can only apologize whole heartedly and hope it means something ;w;
I loved doing these contests and cheers to the experience everyones gained, and any friendships made in the process!

Ahhh, it was a pleasure to be able to work alongside my girlfriend for this viscet tryout ^^)/ I was joyful to see that she had as much fun as I did working on this competition together. I don't think I would have been able to make a form so thought out without her aid, as I was suffering from a severe case of writer's block during our time on the form. I'm grateful that she was happy to take on planning out the entire story line and allowed me to mirror her own writing. Thank you for fixing all of my terrible late night spelling mistakes by the way >>, I'm seriously honored that she accepted my request to try out for these two, as I'm completely proud of how much work she put in c:

It was definitely a tough and close contest! There were so many amazing, thought out forms that were submitted, and I loved reading through each and every one of them. The effort could be clearly seen in every piece of writing, art, animation, and coding, and all of the ideas submitted were wonderfully creative. Congratulations to everyone who received shout outs as well ^^

It's always a joy to participate in your partner competitions, Yoosung! I adore the prompts you put out for us to work with in order to build our characters, and I find partner comps to be a lovely learning experience. Plus, they're all around fun, and I enjoy working alongside other people, especially close friends ^o^

If possible, could I receive permission from everyone to keep art created of the moon-based viscet? If not, I'm definitely fine with that, as I completely understand that it may be too character specific for me to keep! ^o^ I'll give the original artist of each piece complete credit; all art that I'm allowed to keep will be displayed on her toyhou.se page c:
