Re: Viscet #298 || Closed

Not going to lie, this is a little hard for me to do. Calamity has always been an amazing viscet and the memories of the fun howlingtothestars and I had as she helped me with my forum still shine brightly whenever I look at her. Sadly, I just haven't been able to give her the love she truly deserves, and so, today, she will be going up for adoption.

The competition will go as follows.
The theme of the competition was chaos, and so I want you to tell me about her alignment with chaos - is it a good and strong one or is a weak and bad one?
Code: Select all
Username;
Name;
Gender; female (must stay female)
Alignment with chaos;
Extras;

As with the last readopts, extras are unlimited. Have fun!
This will end on April 30th
Here and there, kinda like a ghost now. Still debating quitting but I love my viscets too much to just leave without finding them perfect homes, so I am not sure yet. Please do not ask for one of my remaining viscets out of the blue... Those who aren't going to friends will be placed for public adoption or kept

Calamity || the unbroken

"Nadī, darling. Please don't get too close to the ledge!" Calamity called to the small viscling who was playing around the ledge outside of their cliffside cave. When the viscling only acknowledged her plea with a tiny giggle, Calamity shook her head and released an exasperated sigh. "Nadī, I won't ask you again; please don't get too close to that ledge!" At that, her daughter stomped a paw and shot her mother a playful frown. "I'll come right back, I promise! I just wanna see something!" Calamity's eyes widened as the viscling broke into a full sprint in order to reach the very end of the long rock-edge.

"See!" Nadī turned her head to call to her mother, "I just wanted to look!" At that, Calamity shrugged, though the nerves still ate at her, especially when the sky began to darken at an unusually rapid rate, and storm clouds made way over their home.

"Just a few more minutes, alright? We need to get inside soon, Nadī!" She underestimated just how soon the small family would need to evacuate into their shelter as a gust of cool wind nearly knocked her over. The thunder was already loud enough to deafen her sensitive ears for a few moments with every crack, and her feathers stood on end each time where was a strike of lightning.

"Nadī, we need to go now!" Just as she started to run full-speed toward the ledge where her daughter was, a torrential rain clouded her vision almost immediately.

"Mama!" She could just barely hear the small voice of her daughter over the rain and the wind.

"I'm coming, ba-." Her sentence was cut short when her right paw was taken out from under her by a slippery mud puddle, and she soon found herself face first in the mud. Quickly, she scrambled back to her paws, uncaring about the pain that shot through her leg with every step - but she was stopped again. A noise louder than thunder had her ears pinned to the sides of her head and her eyes in slits as she tried to find the source of the noise. Even though the sound had stopped not long after it had started, instinct still had her ducking down to avoid whatever it was, while desperation had her pushing through the heavy rain to get to her daughter. "Nadī!" She shrieked, though her voice was muted by the blanket of rain. "Nadī, where are you?" Panic set in when there was no response, but she was determined to believe that it was only because her daughter was terrified and unable to find her voice. However, she soon realised that she was sorely mistaken.

The ledge that her daughter was standing on only moments earlier, was gone. Judging by how unbelievably hot the area was, she assumed the rock was struck by lightning and the elongated earth soon broke off and crumbled into the unforgiving sea below. With a defeated howl, Calamity fell to her knees, front paws desperately pulling at the rocks and roots as if attempting to bring the broken ledge back. She wanted to scream for her daughter in a last-ditch effort to find her, but the light inside of her heart was gone. The one thing that kept her stable and eased her troubled mind - it was gone, and she didn't have the energy to release even another howl into the cold rain.

As she sat hunched over and staring down at the roaring sea below, Calamity tightened her paws into small fists and bared her teeth to snap her jaws at the blank space in front of her.

"She can't be gone." The viscet snarled against the blanket of rain. She no longer cared about the deafening thunder, or the too-close-for-comfort lightning, or the rain that had her soaked to the bone. All she cared about was the daughter that mother nature so selfishly tore from her. Without looking back for even a single second, Calamity turned her back on her home in a quest to find the one thing that ever gave her true purpose.

"There was a time before Nadī." Her tone was dark and her eyes were more piercing than ever before. She had lost weight and her coat was completely disheveled. Calamity looked and sounded to be an absolute wreck.

"I looked into the devil's eyes. I wasn't very old — just out of adolescence." She stopped to take a large inhale. The air around her was crisp and clean. It reminded her of a more familiar time. Perhaps at one time, that would have brought a smile to her once bright features, but not this time. In fact, hardly anything could make her smile anymore.

"I thought I was dreaming at first, but the blinding pain that soon erupted through my veins told me much different. It was the air itself that was hurting me. It was so damn cold — I've been in snow before — that was something completely different."

She sighed loudly, rolling her eyes in the process. Why was she even talking about all of this anyway? What good was it going to do? It was a complete waste of time in her opinion, but oddly enough, it did feel good to let it all out. Her time before Nadī was something Calamity kept to herself. She didn't tell a single soul — until now.

"I could barely walk, and I definitely couldn't utter a single word. I was about to be frozen solid and there wasn't a single thing I could do about it."

"How did you get there?" The viscet opposite of her asked the question in a hushed tone, bright green eyes transfixed on red, not wanting to miss a single detail. She was a gorgeous viscet, Calamity noted to herself. She had already known that, but looking at her under the moonlight with nothing but the warm campfire to illuminate her soft features; it was definitely something special.

"Where even was I? That's the real question. I still, to this day, have no idea. Honestly, I believe I found the ends of the world. I believe I found the perfect point where the two ends of the world meet and I was shoved into a different dimension. I know, it sounds crazy —."

"No," the other interrupted, "it sounds remarkable. That could be the answer, Calamity. That could be the answer! Maybe you have to go back. Maybe you'll find her if you go back."

Calamity scoffed at the suggestion. "Truly, I'm not laughing at you, Monique. I just don't feel a connection between the two instances. Losing Nadī, and that different dimension — there is no connection." She shifted herself in order to get more comfortable beside the fire while making sure to keep eye contact with the other female.

"You mentioned the devil. What did you mean by that?" Monique tilted her head, genuine curiosity scrawled on her face.

"A viscet with a coat as red as blood and eyes to match. He met me out there in the deadly snow, yet he was unharmed. He spoke, but I couldn't hear him. I would have been terrified, but honestly, I was too far gone to care. I was convinced that I was going to die out there." She shivered as her mind took her back to the blistering cold, and she snuggled closer to the fire as a result.

"But in the blink of an eye, I was ... somewhere. I couldn't recognise anything around me, but I knew I was in my own world again." She paused to run a paw through her main. "I didn't need to understand what he said to know that he was the devil. Every night since then, I saw him in my dreams. I felt the bitter cold from his world at random. I don't know what he said to me, Monique, but I believe I agreed to something without even knowing what it was. I believe he cursed me." She scoffed again, although it was sarcastic, unlike the last time — almost as if she could hardly believe her own words.

"My life had been complete chaos since that day. Since the moment I laid eyes on the devil, and up until Nadī hatched from her egg, my life was chaos. I didn't know how to control it in order to reap the benefits it might have provided. It made me weak; it made me feel powerless. My lack of control over the chaos that plagued my life made me feel absolutely useless, so I tried my best to embrace it." Calamity shrugged lazily before continuing.

"It was so odd. The moment I saw Nadī, it felt as though a weight had been lifted from my chest. I could finally see clearly again. I felt in control. I didn't think it would last, but after the first day, and then another day, then days turned into weeks, and weeks turned to months, I was convinced. My little Nadī had solved all of my problems just by existing. How is that even possible?"

Monique wanted to give her insight on the situation, but she knew Calamity wasn't looking for an answer to her question. So, instead, she just nodded and waited for her friend to continue.

"When I lost her, I felt it rush back, but it was different this time. This time I wasn't going to allow it to control my life again. I truly embraced it this time, Monique. My life isn't chaos. I am chaos. It gives me strength, it gives me confidence, and it pushes me to do things I would never have before."

With that, Calamity rose up on her hind legs. "It gives me the strength to find my daughter. That's all I care about. She is alive, I know it. And I will find her. I will be done with this curse once and for all." Once she turned her back to leave the small camp, Monique lifted herself to her paws as well. "Where are you going?" She asked, a melancholic tone present in her voice.

"You know my story. That's what you wanted to know, Monique. Now I must leave to continue my journey. I will always treasure you, as you are the only one who knows my tale, but I must go."

Without another word, Calamity left the smaller viscet in order to continue her quest to find her lost daughter.

Calamity only wishes she could tell the future like one of the Seers. In her adolescence, she didn't believe in all of that Seer nonsense, but as she's grown older and matured, she feels there is some truth to the knowledge they claim to have. She went to one of them — a 'Seer of Ugin', she called herself.

"Who's Ugin?" Calamity had asked, skepticism apparent in her voice. The Seer was used to dealing with those ignorant of the Guardian's existence, so she merely offered a pleasant smile. "That is for another time, my dear. You have come to me in search of answers to another problem. Why else would you be here?"

Calamity opened her mouth to speak, but the older viscet quickly continued before she could, "in search of your missing daughter. The vibrant wanderer. She spreads her joy and laughter while also in search of her past. She has sad eyes and a bright smile."

Calamity couldn't believe what she was hearing. Nadī was alive!

Nadī was alive.

"Tell me where she is." The younger viscet demanded with glowing red eyes and a mouthful of razor-sharp teeth bared as if she was going to tear off the other's head without hesitation. The Seer only smirked up at the disheveled viscet. If Calamity came to pick a fight, unfortunately for her, it would be her last. In one motion, her smirk melted into another sweet smile. She had more couth than to instigate.

"Calamity, my dear. Please relax. There are things I can tell you, but there are also things I can not tell you for I do not know the answers myself. My abilities do not allow me to learn specifics — I don't literally see, you see." She smirked again, but this time at her own joke. "The only reason I know what your daughter looks like is because I have met her. She once stood in the exact spot that you are, on her own quest to find herself." She cleared her throat before rising on shaky legs. Her joints popped and cracked with every move and Calamity had to sympathise with her.

"I can tell you that she is very much alive. Her life essence flows wildly through these old bones, just as yours does now. You see, everyone I meet leaves an everlasting impression on my very existence — that is until they move on from this life."

It wasn't much, but Calamity was far more hopeful than before she met the Seer. Even if she didn't understand a lot of what she had said, she had confirmation that her dearest Nadī was still among the living.

"Oh yes," the Seer's old voice interrupted her train of thought, "there is something you should know. She no longer goes by 'Nadī', and you might do well to call her the name she has chosen for herself. I sense her hatch name will only lead her down a dark path."

Again, Calamity didn't quite understand, but she accepted the advice without question, only tilting her head, curious as to what her daughter's new name was.

"Dragonfly."

After hearing the name roll off the other's tongue, she repeated it herself and then nodded in understanding. "I will find her, and I will remember. Thank you, Seer of Ugin."

"There is just one other thing, Calamity." With a deep sigh, the old viscet sat back down to look at the kindling fire in front of her. "There is much darkness in you. If you allow it to, it will conquer you and you will never be the same again. I'm afraid that not even your daughter can save you now. You must rely on yourself."

Not much was said after that. Calamity had thanked her again, and she exited the cave feeling an array of very different emotions. She was hopeful about finding her daughter, but now she was terrified of dragging her down the path of darkness. Would it be easier to just let her go?

No.

No, they both needed closure. They needed to find each other, despite the darkness in Calamity's future. They needed to find each other and then a decision could be made about whether or not to split up or be a family again.

Although there was definitely fear flowing through her veins, Calamity was prepared for the long and dark road ahead.

Image

Calamity's relationship with chaos is not only a rocky one, but a confusing one as well. When she's good, she's great, but when she's bad... she's bad. She's never caused harm to anyone, but when the darkness takes over, she becomes incredibly unstable. Paranoia sets in along with her nervous tick of squeezing her eyes shut every few seconds. When she's like that, she can't make heads or tails from anything really, and her behaviour becomes incredibly manic. If she allows the darkness to take over her, even a little, she'll begin to get strange urges that she would never have any other time. If she had to label her alignment with chaos, it would have to be a mix of chaotic neutral and chaotic good. Calamity never has and never will be out to get anyone, no matter how far into chaos she falls and no matter how terrible the urges get.

She has an incredibly difficult time fighting the bond she has with chaos, but no matter what, she will never let it win the battle. She will continue to fight or die trying to break free of the unrelenting grasp.

Image

Image

Calamity doesn't remember all that much about her past. At least nothing before her meeting with the devil. It was almost like the rest of her life was erased entirely. Who were her parents? She had no idea. Did she have brothers and sisters? No idea. Friends? Maybe, but she would never know, and that was okay with her. You can't miss what you never had.

THE DEVIL: She doesn't know his name, and honestly, she doesn't really have the desire to learn it. He was the first viscet she remembers ever seeing, and she believes he not only cursed her but erased her memory as well. He haunts her dreams, and sometimes even her reality too. "Don't look into the eyes of the devil." She tells herself every night before braving her own dream world. When she sees those blood red eyes in her dreams, it takes all of her willpower to turn her head away and avert her eyes. She sometimes wonders what would happen if she stared back into those eyes of his. Would she be devoured entirely? As curious as she is to find out, and as tempting is sometimes is to just give in and maybe put an end to all of it, she continues to stay strong, in and out of her dreams.

Image

NADĪ DRAGONFLY: Her pride and joy. Her daughter was the only one able to keep her chaotic tendencies at bay, but she was forced out of her careful watch by mother nature herself. Calamity has been scouring the entire world in search of her daughter. She has talked to everyone and anyone, basically asking the same thing and always getting basically the same response: "have you seen this viscet?" "no, no... I'm sorry."

Desperate times call for desperate measures though, and she's even been to a Seer and in her own private time, she has even prayed once or twice. To what? She didn't have a clue, but her hope is that who or whatever is out there can hear her prayers and pleas.

Image

MONIQUE: Calamity hasn't known Monique for very long, but honestly, when they met it seemed like they knew each other forever. The younger female was very empathetic toward Calamity and she tried her best to cheer her up whenever she was feeling down about her daughter, which was something that not many really bothered to do. Monique is also the only one who knows the full story of her past, making her Calamity's closest friend.

It wasn't an easy decision for her to make then she left Monique's company in order to continue her journey — but it was definitely a necessary one.

    Username; EverdaleDreamers
    Name; Tenebris Calamity

    First name: Tenebris - Latin word for dark
    Surname/Alias - Calamity -
    Gender; female (must stay female)

    Alignment with chaos;
    Tenebris's alignment with chaos is strong, at first she had tried to conquer it on her own but failed but discovered by working with it instead of against it, things flowed more smoothly that way since it affected her capabilities of keeping her own powers under control. She has done more bad and caused more trouble over doing the right thing in a utilitarian view. Despite all this she is capable of being peaceful and just. Many would see her as chaotic and evil but after a while of getting to know her they realize that she has some good in her.

    Extras;

    Likes:
    Hats - If you were to offer the world's riches to her and someone else offered a hat, believe it or not Tenebris would go for the hat. She finds them interesting as there is a variety to their types and designs. She doesn't obsessively collect them though.

    Honey - Honey is her favorite condiment and it's not commonly found in Helheim but easily available in Midgard. You could probably easily barter for a couple ingots of ore or even something else only acquired from Helheim with a barrel of honey.

    Tea - Tea is her preferred drink if water doesn't count. She especially likes to add milk and honey to her tea which sounds a but strange but that's her favorite way to have her tea.

    Wolf - These wild animals are a mystery to her as there are loners and then there are packs that work together. She finds their howling to be melodious songs to her ears. She also likes to observe them to learn their ways with communication. hunting, and fighting as was as their body language.

    Chinchilla - She finds these animals to be rather whimsical and relaxing to observe. They are also her chosen favorite for domestic pet animals. She would like to own one as a pet but she has decided against it for she may not be able to be around it alot with the way things are with the conflict and her own duties.

    Jazz Music - She finds Jazz to be very expressive and easier to listen to as some other genres are a bit harsh for her tastes.

    Goggly eyes - Tenebris has a favorite pass time of sticking goggly eyes on things and creatures. At first it was to tease Luka but other demons found them amusing so she never stopped.

    Steamed Buns - Tenebris has never found a more interesting food than this. She finds it very appealing to consume with a variety to the dough, appearance, shape, size, and filling you could eat it hot or cold as long as it is cooked. You could eat it on a plate, a bamboo steamer basket, in a napkin/handkerchief, or your bare hands. It's very delicious to her and was first introduced to it by Luka who would often make it whenever the group hung out back in their childhood.

    Candy/Sweets - Tenebris enjoys making confections and eating them. She remembered that her parents had been craving some when she was young so she tried to make some and found the experience to be very rewarding.

    Monochrome - Tenebris prefers monochrome over any other range of colors as some color combinations can be "tacky" in her opinion whereas monochromes are simple.

    Dislikes -

    "Tacky color combinations" - Tenebris is not fond of these "tacky" color combos as she refers it. It's difficult to exactly know what would be tacky but she wouldn't like seeing orange and teal together for an example.

    Smoothies - She finds these to not be an ideal substitute for a meal and figuring out the right ingredients to make it meal worthy in nutrition is a pain as she would need to test recipes to make it work.

    Bunnies/Rabbits - Tenebris will swear her word to you that these cute creatures are actually evil. She's not exactly afraid of them but she doesn't like them. Live ones at the best, their fur or plushes in the least. She usually has them shooed away and if you ask why they're evil she'll tell you that they are secretly planning to rule the world which sounds rather strange but maybe she heard to many tales that made rabbits seem evil as a viscling.

    "Why do some call you Calamity?" :
    Calamity is my surname but I also use it as my alias as well as others. If I had used Tenebris then attention would be drawn to me and I may cause some scuffles in which I would like to avoid. Midgard is the place where destruction is not allowed but violence is discouraged in town areas and other areas of importance but it didn't mean that I was completely safe from the enemies of Helheim and those that disliked demons. It is more common sense for a demon queen to not go flouncing around without a disguise or by continuing to use my first name which many would know and be familiar with. Some that are close to me also refer to me as Calamity and sometimes Tene or Cala if they dare but Calamity seems to be the popular of the pick.

    Relations:
    Ren:
    A viscet most demons dislike for he is the last one to fight for a soul. Tenebris had once tried to recruit him and his reapers to Helheim to get the upper hand over the soldiers of Salvatore but Oblivion had gained them as residents instead which disappointed Tenebris. She often likes to cause trouble for him when he's out working and Ren in turn finds her to be a royal pain. Oblivion's bodyguard, he is the one who intercepts whenever she and Oblivion are close enough to fight each other tooth and claw.

    Oblivion:
    Oblivion is one of Tenebris's "enemies", Oblivion's realm is not directly involved in the conflict but the residents of her realm do fight her citizens whenever a soul is located. The two aren't exactly friends as Tenebris had wanted Ren and his reapers to join her but they became allied with Oblivion instead. Their main scuffle is their abilities to make dresses and sweets, the two are rivals when it comes to this. They do have times when they fight each other tooth and claw but most times they are forced to stop.

    Iwan:
    Her best friend from childhood, they were very close together and liked to hang out with Luka and surprisingly Raphael as he had to be her escort. All were from different sides of the conflict and it had split them all apart. The two liked to get into trouble by picking fights and pulling pranks or even trying out dangerous quests. Iwan calls her Calamity, her alias and surname so attention is not drawn to her. Iwan has reasoned that he thought it is a cool name to have rather than Tenebris which is Latin for dark.

    Raphael:
    Tenebris knew very little about him and met him in her teens and he was about her age too. He was hired by her mother to be her bodyguard after her mother found out about her sneaking off to Midgard then permitted her sneaking off as long as it stayed in Midgard and no where else. She was rather fond of him and he too seemed rather fond of her which was surprising as he was a bit crude toward her. The two learned witchcraft and summoning together which was the times when she saw how kind and caring he was. Whever they were with Iwan and Luka he would be cold and aloof and he claimed to not like strangers. He had slightly warmed up and became a part of the group and was usually there to cover for them if Tenebris was getting close to a tight situation. When Tenebris reached full maturity and her mother passed on leaving the throne empty he disappeared without a trace.

    Raven:
    Tenebris is the only one who doesn't scrutinize Raven for his mixed breed as to her he's a demon through and through. She often sends him on errands and has some more trust in him than those that have sworn to serve her family. Usually it is he who fetches her things from other places that she herself is unable to go to. When her mother passed on and left the throne empty there was a political war of sorts for who would take the throne and Raven was a powerful foe who decided to back Tenebris and helped her take the throne that was her birthright.

    Wyzenia:
    Wyzenia and Tenebris despise each other and often have times when both would stand off to each other as their fights are never allowed to happen since someone would always stop them. Wyzenia is Raven's "partner in crime" but Tenebris disapproves of him being with her as sirens can be rather dangerous. Raven often intercepts when the two are close to tearing each other's heads off.

    Amarok:
    Amarok was taken in by Tenebris when she had no where else to go and was wandering the streets of Midgard as a young child. When she was nearing adulthood she had set out to Midgard to live independently but Tenebris often goes to visit her to see how she is doing for although she may not be her mother she treated Amarok as if she were her own child.

    Luka:
    Her other best friend from childhood. They were close and always hung out with Iwan. Luka usually disapproved of the pranks and dangerous quests but was more than happy to help come up with strategies or find a place to eat a meal at. Tenebris found Luka to be rather charming and sometimes teased him with things that had goggly eyes. Though he would scold her for it he would always help her whenever there were things she didn't understand with homework or lessons from her tutors. Luka refers to Tenebris as Calamity since it is being used as her alias whenever they are together or communicating with one another, in Luka finds it to be polite and respectful to refer to someone by their surname then their first name when they become very close friends. He still calls her Calamity as the name has grown on him but sometimes calls her Cala for short.

    Damien -
    The son of Ren, Tenebris absolutely despises him. She thinks that Damien is the one who tore Raphael away from her. The reason why she dislikes him so much is that there are times when she is at her home castle in Helheim and Damien raids it with a small team of strong viscet. Damien had also stated to her that he would be the one who will take over Helheim and he would start with her then move on to the realm's patron. It is very rude for a total stranger to come tromping through a castle with their posse in tow, knock out some of your strongest generals and guards, declare that they are going to destroy you and take over your home realm, steal some things and leave. She's still mainly upset at how Raphael is hanging around with the likes of Damien despite him not filling her in about his sudden disappearance.

    "Childhood Fondness" (Past)

    I was born in Helheim and both of my parents were the king and queen which meant that I was the next in line heir. My upbringing was a little strict for my likes and I didn't really have any friends. I was mostly arranged to have playdates with friends of the royal family or other nobles. After an incident bearing the loss of my father my mother decided to keep me shut in the castle and all my playdates from then on occurred there. By my teen years I became a little more rebellious than obedient and often snuck out of the castle over to Midgard. It was there when I met my two best friends, Iwan and Luka, they were both my age but the problem for us was that we had to keep our friendship a secret from everyone at our homes. Iwan was the foster son of Ren who was from the Oblivion realm and Luka was an apprentice at the Salvatore realm and those two sides were in conflict with my home realm of Niflheim. We all didn't care if we were supposed to be enemies and we had some real great times together. My mother later on found out that I had been sneaking out and was rather angry but her anger subsided when I had told her that my little expeditions were only to Midgard. I was grounded to my room for a full season, when my punishment was over my mother called me in for an audience and there was a blue and green horned viscet in the room as well. My mother explained to me that she would allow me to explore out in the world but only in Midgard and to make sure that I was safe and not breaking the condition she hired a bodyguard and gestured to the viscet. With a curt bow he was introduced as Raphael and my mother ended our conversation to return her to her duties. After a short conversation we went to Midgard and I introduced him to Luka and Iwan who were delighted to meet a potential new friend to hang out with. Our days passed by rather well, we all hung out did some fun things and sometimes took on some rather wacky quests and Raphael would save our hides when things got a little too intense. As we got older it started to get harder and harder for us all to meet up and Raphael would only show up on certain days of the week. By the time I reached full maturity and a young adult, we all no longer saw each other and Raphael had disappeared without a word, without a trace. On that same day my mother passed away and the throne was up for the taking thus sparking a political war of sorts. It sounds unfair since I technically am the heir but that's how it always worked. I had difficulty finding people who would back me until I met another demon named Raven, I learned that he was scrutinized by the other demons since he was a mix of them. After a while of talking Raven told me that he would back me in taking the throne back. He believed my judgements to be just, that I treated him as an equal than something of lesser existence and that it is my birthright. With his help we went through some hardships but eventually we won and I ascended the throne. There are days when I think back to the past and remember all the fond memories of the viscets I befriended and the good times we had.

    "Even one such as I has morals." (Story #1)

    Tenebris was sleeping peacefully in her tent when she heard a commotion outside. Feeling annoyed she opened her eyes and arose from the pile of furs that made up her sleeping area. She stepped out and saw many demons starting to gather around a tree and the crowd chatter was enough to make her feel annoyed, she could have dismissed the commotion and hurried along but her attention was caught when she heard these words "Look, it's an Abyss child, should we eat it?" , "I bet we can easily defeat that Abysswalker now, this child definitely looks like his.". "A child from the Abyss, that means it's Artorias's", thought Tenebris as she walked towards the crowd with a hardened expression. Upon seeing their queen's arrival the crowd parted so she could pass through.
    Tenebris stopped at the foot of the tree and saw a viscling with it's back to the tree and it's mane fluffed up in warning as it held a stick in it's jaws. Tenebris chuckled as she saw the fear and bravery in the young viscling's eyes. "What should we do with it my queen?", a demon asked and others started to speak as well but all fell silent as she raised a paw in the air. "What I do with the viscling is of no concern to all of you now leave, I shall handle this myself with Raven as my escort.", Tenebris said loudly for all to hear. The demons grumbled in disappointment and left as Raven strode over upon hearing his name called "Good morning my lady,
    you seem to outshine the moon and eclipse today." Raven cooly greeted, his eyes full of mischief and charm. Tenebris dismissed it as she knew better than to indulge him "There you are, I need you to come with me to find the Abysswalker. I believe our best bet would be to approach the Abyss." Raven stared at her hard "Are you serious? What in the world are you thinking going to a place like that?
    Yes I am totally capable of finding it but seriously, you could get swallowed up if you get too close.", Raven let out a sigh "You know what, as you wish." Tenebris nodded and walked over to the viscling who raised it's stick in warning "Do not be afraid little one,
    no one is going to hurt you. I have decided to take you home to your father." the viscling stared at her with suspicion "Who are you?", it spoke in a soft, gallant yet sweet voice. "I am Tenebris, the demon queen of this realm.", Tenebris answered with a nod from the viscling. "My name is Arturia, daughter of Artorias the Abysswalker.", the viscling said with an edge of politeness in her tone then allowed Tenebris to pick her up with her forearms and with a tsk from Raven they set out to the Abyss. Raven stopped them a few yards away and Tenebris gazed at the murky darkness and wondered if those caught in it would truly be lost to the world then remembered that Artorias was a pawn of it then wondered how it chose it's champions. As if her thoughts called out to him, Artorias stepped out of the Abyss with a cold expression, the air was filled with tension as his eyes settled on Arturia who had decided to take a nap on the way. "What brings you demons here?", Artorias's deep but gallant voice questioned them, his tail swished and his glow blazed like a star. Tenebris gently woke Arturia up and set her down "Abysswalker, we were just returning something that belongs to you, it wandered near our camp by Ebalon.", Tenebris said with a calm tone as Arturia perked her ears up and scampered over to Artorias with the stick. Raven backed up as Artorias lowered his head down to nuzzle Arturia and brought her closer to him protectively with his tail then rose to his full height. "I appreciate you bringing my child back to me unharmed but I must ask what has caused you to do so, the acquisition of a favor? A trap? Perhaps something else that reaps you benefits?", Artorias inquired cautiously and Tenebris shook her head and signaled for Raven to return ahead of her, "No no, I simply decided to bring her back as she was lost and all lost children must go back to their parents. I know you think I may be after something but I'll have you know that even one such as I have my morals Abysswalker. I did what I thought and saw as the right thing to do, now I bid you farewell." Tenebris dipped her head slightly then followed Raven back to the camp.

    "We meet again" (Winter 13, Year - XXXV) (Story #2)

    It was a harsh and cold winter when it happened, something that no one had exactly expected. I was finishing up the paperwork at my castle home for the day when an explosion was heard and I heard demons running about and shouting to prepare for battle. Raven ran in and informed me that we were being attacked. I had asked him how many we would be facing and he drew a shaky breath and said, "I know this sounds ridiculous but there are only ten of them." I scoffed, "How much damage has been done?" I found it real absurd until one of my generals ran into the room in urgency, "My queen please get to safety! They've taken out the main gate and watch towers and now they've destroyed the front entrance of the castle." I frowned then rushed to the throne room deciding that I may as well go down trying to defend my people and my home realm with Raven and the general in tow. As soon as we walked in we ducked down just as another general flew and hit a wall knocking her out. When I stood up and adjusted my eyesight to the lighting my heart nearly stopped. A dark gray viscet with a starry mane and horns was in the room but the one who incapacitated the general was Raphael, there was no mistaking him with his feather marking. "R-Raphael? What are you doing here?", I began then my anger flared as I glared at the dark gray viscet, "You, who are you and who do you think you are just marching in here doing whatever you please?"
    The dark gray viscet grinned savagely and flicked it's ear, Raphael apparently understood and had knocked out the last general and had Raven by the throat against a wall. The dark gray viscet clapped as it strode over, "Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, witness as an angel of darkness incapacitates a demon." it laughed then it's expression turned serious, "I am Damien, son of Ren. I've come here to test your defenses for I plan to take over Helheim." he laughed after he spoke his plan as if it didn't matter if we knew or not. I was outraged but before I could do anything Damien gestured to Raphael who knocked out Raven then followed Damien as he walked away and other viscets joined them carrying bags of things they had decided to take. I watched as they left with my home in ruins. "So, we meet again, this time as enemies I assume." I whispered watching Raphael but he never looked back and I knew that this Damien was an evil foe that I would have to rise up to face for in a sense he declared war against me.

    "Reunion is a precious moment" (Summer 15, Year XXXVI)

    It was a rather hot summer this year, it had been two seasons, half a year since I last saw Damien and when my castle had last been directly attacked. Last season, there was a council meeting for all realms and societies and there was much discussion but somehow we had all agreed to a ceasefire that would last 25 years. During this time the conflict would subside, small scuffles may occur but direct attacks or invasions were not allowed and councils would have to be held once or twice every season which was almost the same as the old meeting schedule. After the meeting had ended I noticed Iwan and Luka walking off somewhere and joined one as everyone else decided to return home or chat amongst themselves. The two stopped outside the council building by a fountain, when they spotted me they smiled and waved in greeting and I couldn't help but return the gesture then walked over to them. "It's been a very long time hasn't it?", Luka asked with a glimmer in his eyes, his voice had gotten deep and he seemed much more wiser than the last time I had seen him. Iwan nodded "Well we knew eventually when we reached adulthood things wouldn't be the same.", he spoke in a smooth and silky voice that wasn't deep like Luka's. I nodded "It really has, I'm just glad that none of us decided that the times we had weren't important at all.", I said placing a paw on the fountain, "At least for you two that is, Raphael hasn't exactly been friendly these last few years." I continued on. I told them about my mother's passing and Raphael's sudden disappearance and reappearance and what had happened when Damien had attacked that day. They both listened carefully, Iwan's expression slowly grew in disgust and Luka seemed to ponder something but neither had interrupted. When I had finished Iwan snarled and punched a pillar "I always knew that he was a jerk but I didn't think he'd be a back stabber. The next time I see him I'll punch him so hard it'll make his ancestors dizzy.", he roared. Luka lightly bopped Iwan on the head with a folded fan and made a tsking sound before scolding him, "Now now Iwan, hitting him is not the best course of action. Maybe there was a reason to it, perhaps he was made to do it. Calamity, if you wish to know why he is with Damien and why he did what he did then we should ask him ourselves in a peaceful environment and situation." I thought about it and nodded in agreement, it sounded like the best course of action to take. I didn't know how to get the answers without problems arising as I was more accustomed to the way of life back at home. We discussed things further and Luka ended up asking Raphael if he would like to meet up with us to hang out and talk. To our surprise Raphael agreed and settled on a date, time, and location with Luka. Luka had told me and Iwan that the location was at a coffee shop in Midgard called "Sweet Caffeine" and to meet there in the morning at the 9th hour on the 15th of Summer which brings us to now. I had trouble falling asleep the night before since I was concerned if things would change and I couldn't handle the news from Raphael or that the chaos I caused and created during the conflict would tear us apart. I did like chaos and all but our friendship was more valuable to me than that.
    I ended up waking at the 5th hour and groomed myself for my fur had become horridly disarrayed with my tossing and turning. I pulled Raven aside and told him to take over my duties for the day until I returned which shouldn't be too long, "Before nightfall."
    was what I had promised Raven. I set off to Midgard and had some trouble locating the coffee shop. By the time I had entered the coffee shop everyone had already arrived, I checked the time to find that I had somehow arrived right on time. I took a seat at the table and no one spoke as they looked through the menu, I settled on a milk tea. After everyone placed their order Raphael was the first to speak, "So, I have this hunch that the reason you all called me here isn't to just hang out. I rather not have this dragged out so out with it alright? What is it that you want?" his voice was a bit monotonous and a bit deep with a hint of an accent. Luka was the first to speak as I would have probably said something else and Iwan might have sparked a fight. "Raphael, Calamity has questions for you, we heard from her and are curious as well. Why did you just suddenly disappear? What is it that made you accompany Damien on that attack? When did you start to hang around him?", Luka was being gentle in his tone but very straightforward with the questions as Raphael may get impatient or frustrated early in the questioning. Raphael was silent and stayed silent as a black and white viscet served us our drinks and some condiments to use in our drinks, I had immediately started to add a generous amount of honey to my milk tea as it was hard to resist but everyone else was already adding their usual to their beverages as well. Raphael had finished stirring some creamer into his black coffe before he spoke again, "Things had happened, I do apologize for suddenly leaving but if I told any of you, you might have followed and gotten hurt as well." he paused then started to speak softly hinting to us that this was a rather delicate subject for him, "Tenebris, you know that I'm not a demon and that I am from Midgard. I was an angel and shaman in training and had training as a warrior when your mother hired me when I was offering my services. Where I live it is very cold and has plenty of ice and snow, one day I had noticed that I was feeling strange and read my fate with stones, feathers, and bones. All they would tell me was that something bad would occur and that no one should be around when it happens. I learned that it would occur the same day you entered adulthood Tenebris and it would be harder to stay normal the closer the date got. That day when you entered adulthood I had changed, the magic that I was born with had corrupted and changed me as well and I became an angel of darkness. I went an a rampage and my powers were out of control, I wasn't able to get a grip on my own senses until Damien had knocked me out. When I had awoken he had offered to help me control my powers, it wasn't perfect but it is better than nothing.
    In exchange for his help I would have to help him but there was also a threat he had made, he knew a secret that I didn't want anyone knowing. I wasn't myself the day of the attack either, there's some times when it happens but not all the time." I had listened patiently as he explained and when he finished I didn;t really know what to say but I knew that he had been through a lot and he felt bad about not saying anything. All I did was walk over to him and hugged him gently but firmly, "It must have been real rough, I'm glad your back though even for a little bit.", I whispered to him. I had missed him so much, he was one of my closest friends and his disappearance had worried me. Luka had nodded and also joined the hug, Iwan let out a huff in stubbornness then eventually gave in,
    "Well at least you seem regretful about it. I guess I can forgive you." Iwan said reluctantly and Luka pulled him into the group hug.
    "So Raph, do you still have to help Damien or are we able to hang out again?", I asked and he looked at me in the eyes and answered, "In a way I still do, but for now we can still hang out, I may have to keep it a secret though or in my off days." I smiled and squeezed them all a bit tighter. "We have much to catch up on but you know what? Reunion is a precious moment." I said with a big smile. We all shared our stories for the time we had not been apart and all was well and my anxiety was over nothing as no one was upset by the things I did. The sun had began to set when we all had decided on the next time we would meet and I returned home back to my duties.

    Alignment with chaos ;;

    Saigai's alignment with chaos is very strong. She was once a fairly average, peaceful Viscet, no source of chaos around her being. Then quite suddenly, everywhere she traveled, chaos was close behind. At first, she despised everything destroying with a touch of her paw, but slowly she grew use to it. Now, chaos is a life style for her, something she relies on greatly. At this point, Saigai doesn't care what crumples beneath her paw, or what source of chaos is kicked up. No secret to anyone is that Saigai personally enjoys the chaos. Some may say that Saigai was even corrupted by chaos, leading to who she is today.

    Personality ;;

    Once a meek and peaceful Viscet who would do anything for anyone, Saigai has changed drastically over the years. She was once a Viscet who would give up everything she had to anyone who asked for it. She was well respected, and was respectful of everyone around her. Now, Saigai is 100% different, and is someone you don't won't to mess with. Saigai is aggressive and snarky; and will chew you up and spit you out. She is no longer meek and peaceful; she is dominant and does all she can to kick up trouble. However, Saigi isn't physically strong. She is strong mentally, and with her harsh tongue, she easily can beat down a weaken appoint. When it comes to a physical battle, Saigai forces another to fight for her. But when it is just her, Saigai will do all she can to dominant the opponent; which typically ends with her running off to lick her wounds.

    While being far less social than her past years, Saigai prefers to only really associate with the Viscets she can tolerate; which is very few. Saigai is a bit of an outcast, but she purposely pushes herself into conversations and matters she doesn't belong to. She doesn't care if she's hurt you, and will brush you off with the swipe of her paw if you dare come back. Saigai loves destruction; and does whatever she can possibly do to cause it. She loves destroying and ruining all sorts of things. When it comes to dares, Saigai will do everything to prove herself not to be a chicken, and if dared, she'd jump from any height or would even swim with sharks. She is almost entirely fearless; expect, she fears being left by everyone. Saigai also can be extremely impatient. She wants everything done as quick as possible and in every way she wants.

    Backstory ;;

    Once, there had been a higher ranked angel, respected and loved by many. She had been considered to be the right hand man to one of the many gods residing in the Heavens. She was intelligent and played in the part of many decisions that the council of gods would debate on. Yet, as life had gone on, things began to change for this angel. One poor decision of her's grew to destroy her life as she knew it. Every decision made after grew poorer and poorer, the council of gods soon began to rule out her choices as they watched multiple times before hand of what destruction her decisions began to make. Desperately, she struggled to make things right.

    Soon, her poor decisions began to manifest into actions. Those actions began to bring a new destruction to the world of the angels, tearing a hole in her life, one that she would never been able to crawl out of. Love and respect grew to hate and detest in mere days, the rest of the angels turning their backs on their once loved friend. The strong link of trust snapped, and the angel was thrown to the lowest of the ranks, where her decisions were over spoken from then on, and no one would even dare to look at her for a fraction of a second. Finally, as her poor decisions and destructive actions began to corrupt the once innocent angel of the lord, the council of the gods brought in a new topic. The council of gods had debated for mere minutes before they quite quickly settled on their agreed punishment. The angel was stripped of her title and was tossed from the Heavens.

    She was left to scavenge the Hell ridden Earth where demons ran freely, where she was now to be known as Saigai. Her previous name was no more, and the council of the gods gave her the name; one that meant Calamity in another language. Her previous name was outlawed from being spoken, and not even Saigai herself could proclaim it. During her punishment on Earth, she herself was still unused to the chaos and devastation she caused. Saigai had been angered by the council's decision, and declared that she would one day climb her way back into her old rank, where she would take command of the council. After a year on Earth, Saigai ran into one male who would utterly flip her world in a whole new direction.

    Saigai was an altered persona. She was no longer how she had been with the angels. Her curse of bringing chaos and destruction where she had gone had corrupted her; twisting and rolling her into a whole new Viscet. She was something that the mortal Viscets of Earth would part to hide from. And soon, she met a Viscet possessed with the soul of an outlandish demon. While their meeting seemed almost planned, Saigai had no trust for this male, despite them being uncannily similar. Their meeting, however, had been a physical scat that left both wounded. Teeth had met skin, and claws clashing claws. The one who won was not Saigai, and she gave her defeat with a kick to the male's jaw. Held by the taste of victory, the male did not end her, he was impressed by her skill and introduced himself.

    He had gone by the name of Jinxx, and became quite the powerful asset and friend to her. Days passed after the fight, and Jinxx had stuck close to her. Saigai explained her story to the male, who responded with the appreciated response that the council deserved all the hell the two could raise. They worked together for days, tearing down villages with their chaos and destruction, and teamwork. Jinxx soon introduced Saigai to his daughter, Zoria, who was as well as a demon. She was a pyromanic, who began to rain her destruction down with the two. The three became a notorious little group; two demons and a fallen angel. The council watched over Saigai each and every day in hopes she would change to who she use to be; but the chaos had seemed to pull her down farther into it's corrupted path.

    Relationships ;;

    Jinxx - Best friend / "Brother"
    Saigai met Jinxx after being banished to Earth by the council of the gods. Jinxx is a Viscet, plagued and corrupted by the soul of a demon, and Saigai is a fallen angel. While their stories are different, the two grew close very fast. At first, she honestly had wanted absolutely nothing to do with him, but where ever she went, she always found Jinxx lingering to the side. Saigai sees the older male as a bigger brother, and Jinxx does not deny that he sees her as a little sister. The two will do anything to keep the other safe and protected; well, Jinxx protects Saigai physically and Saigai likes to step in to help save Jinxx's pride whenever someone is talking bad. Where ever you see one, you better bet the other isn't too far.

    Zoria - Friend
    Jinxx introduced Zoria to Saigai not long after they met. Zoria happens to be a demon as well; and a pyromaniac. Ironically, when first introduced to Saigai, Zoria tried to set the other on fire on habit. After, where ever Saigai saw the other female, there always happened to be a fire somewhere. Saigai and Zoria grew close very quickly, but are not exactly as close as Jinxx and Saigai are. Though, both would do as much as they can to help the other to stay safe. Zoria quickly took place in helping Jinxx and Saigai spread chaos and destruction, which caused for them to grow closer.

    Selene - Enemy
    Her relationship with Selene ended in quite the train wreck. Saigai had known the moon goddess before Saigai had been banished, and now, she wants nothing to do with her once good friend. Everything there is to Selene, Saigai hates. She hates Selene with a strong passion, and nothing could ever change that. Yet, Selene has no idea, still, that her once dear friend was banished. Now, the two no longer associate and but on occasions will see each other. Another reason Saigai despises the other now is that Saigai had prayed for Selene to intervene when the council was debating on her punishment. But her ex-friend never did. So, Saigai swore revenge on both Selene and the council.

    Damian - Enemy
    Though the two may be similar in personality, there is just something about Damian that sets Saigai off. She can not quite pinpoint it, but she utterly despises this demon male. The only way she met Damian was through Jinxx, who isn't quite fond of the male himself, due to basically being an sibling to Damian. Saigai hates everything about Damian; his voice, his scent, his personality, and his piercing ice cold stare. This male is far more evil than Saigai, and she swerves to avoid him as much as she can.

    Autumn - Enemy
    After questionably joining Jinxx's pack, Saigai grew a sudden hatred for the alpha, Autumn. Autumn reminds her far too much of how Saigai use to be before she was banished, and it annoys her. There has been times before when Saigai is actually with the pack, that she has tried to compete for the title of alpha, but is always stopped by Jinxx. While Autumn accepts anyone into the pack, and doesn't care what your history is, Saigai absolutely hates the soft spoken, selfless female. She hates everything about her, and everything she does.

    Kapriel - Frenemy
    Ah yes, the aged war veteran who altered to being a vampire hunter.. while being a vampire. Saigai met this male through Jinxx, just like how she met a lot of other Viscets. While they can get along every now and then; there is just something about Kapriel that Saigai utterly despises. May it be the fact he acts like he knows far more than she does, or the fact that he barely responds to her. Saigai does enjoy being around the male when he's in a good mood and doesn't try to belittle her; but he basically is always in a bad mood on every day ending with a -y. That's why Saigai considers him a "frenemy," not just friend or enemy. Because she doesn't get along with him 24/7, and they do end up having quite a bit of arguments.

    Tidbits ;;

    • Saigai is actually almost entirely color blind; and ironically she can only see shades of red and greys.
    • She is ambidextrous; both of her paws dominant. She switches between using them for everyday tasks.
    • Saigai hoards any skulls and feathers she may come across.
    • Her body temperature is oddly high, but she has no health problems. She's just unusually hot.
    • She is terrible when it comes to music. She does not know how to count, read, or follow music. She also cannot sing nor play an instrument.
    • Saigai is extremely allergic to peanuts and bees. She also happens to be lactose intolerant.
    • Her favorite animal is a crow. She loves what it represents, and how creepy they are perceived as.
    • After being banished, there is a constant buzzing / ringing in Saigai's ears. It took her quite awhile to get use to.
    • She has a habit of rolling her Rs; and sometimes anything she can find over her knuckles.
    • Despite being a mean ol' fallen angel who has a pure hatred for basically everything, her pelt is utterly and unbelievably soft.
    • Every now and then, Saigai will have moments that last for minutes where she reverts back to her pre-fallen angel stage and personality.

    Story ;;

    It was an almost usual, chilly spring morning. Most creatures were barely lifting their heads from sleep. The sky was a beautiful crystal blue, dotted with large puffy clouds. A slight breeze was stirring the budding trees, shifting the blades of green grass. And, suddenly, a group of three very familiar Viscets raced across the expanse of grass; howling with laughter. Flames licked behind them, eating up large amounts of the shrubbery in mere seconds. The one who had set the fire had a massively wicked grin on her face, her eyes wild with adrenaline and joy.

    Jinxx quietly drew to a halt, panting faintly. Saigai and Zoria stopped beside the taller Viscet, and all three turned in unison to face the blazing flames. They licked the sky, sparks shooting out and spiraling to the ground. Occasionally, one spark would burst into a weak child flame, eating at the grass before dying away under the wind. Zoria's pride built as she watched each limb of the flame arch and stretch, the form of this beast growing as it devoured trees and bushes.

    "Mm, see that Saigai? True destruction. Look at them flee in fear."

    Jinxx teased the smaller Viscet, butting his shoulder against her's. Saigai smirked up at him, rolling her eyes. She turned her gaze back, a wicked light gleaming in the fallen angel's eyes. Considerably compared to her past life, Saigai truly was a corrupted, new individual. Creatures ran from the flames, and it was all a jumble of pure chaos. They scrambled over each other to escape the embrace of the fiery arms. It was so relaxing to Saigai to see such chaos erupt from one single source. It also enlightened her greatly to know that it was them that caused it. Jinxx drew in a sharp breath quite suddenly, his form going utterly tense as he saw something quite concerning. Zoria peered up at her father worriedly, tilting her head. All source of evil wiped clean off his daughter's face.

    "Father? What is it? What do you see?"

    Jinxx's gaze did not move from what he was staring at, nor did he respond. His throat had gone dry, his heart beating faster. Both females exchanged a look, before worriedly snapping their gazes in that direction. Zoria was the first to tense, and Saigai finally registered what was happening. The taller form of another Viscet was emerging from the raging fire, untouched by the snapping tongues. Jinxx stepped back as he found the form of one of his brothers before them. Damian's gaze was cold, his head high as he stood before them. A dull glow seemed to radiate from his markings. Ironically, his twin brother was not with him for once, and Damian seemed a lot colder without the other nearby. He then lowered his head, and growled lowly, his gaze drilling hard into Jinxx's. His voice seemed to rumble from Hell itself.

    "Jinxx.. What are you doing lingering in this world of mortals? Pitiful."

    Jinxx lowered his ears, and he glared back up the male. He bared his sharp teeth, before he responded. Saigai was frozen, shaking her head. Responding to the male would just add fuel to the fire, something that would cause an explosion. She wasn't exactly up for a fight with this male who looked stronger than all three of them combined.

    "Oh, does this offend you, Damian? This world may have mortals, but there are other beasts that roam here, and they actually stand up to fight instead of relying on just intimidation."

    Damian sneered, glaring down at Jinxx as the latter spoke. Saigai was tense. This male was towering above all three, and he looked extremely powerful. Zoria growled, flicking her tail, snorting at Damian. This caught the male's attention, and he glared down at Zoria.

    "Well, if it isn't the defect half breed. Are you here to stand up for your daddy again?"

    Saigai's fur rose as Damian snickered down at Zoria. The other female looked hurt, pulling closer to her father, baring her teeth in response. Jinxx's eyes blazed as soon as Damian insulted his daughter. He lunged at Damian, biting hard at his shoulder, teeth tearing a gaping wound into his flesh. Rearing back, Damian's stone cold visage instantly melted into pure rage.

    "Jinxx.. I think we should go.."

    Saigai paled, backing up with Zoria. While she did enjoy to watch a good fight, something told her that it would end with the demise of all three if they stayed long enough. This male terrified Saigai; and she could already feel a burning hatred for him already. Damian growled, his lips curling back. His gaze bore into all of them, and he stood tall, his free paw moving to the wound. His voice came out in a deeper rumble, one that seemed to shake the ground itself. Yet, it seemed to quiver momentarily from the register of how much pain shot up his arm.

    "Yeah, you better listen to your little girlfriend, Jinxx. You know exactly what happens when you mess with me."

    Jinxx glared, before he stormed off, his ears pulling back in rage. Zoria bounded after, keeping close to her father, her gaze hard.
    Damian turned to glare down at Saigai, eyes blazing with pure hatred. Saigai lifted her head, matching his gaze, and growled lowly at him. She instantly turned and took off after the two, who happened to cross a great amount of space quite quickly. She squealed as she felt Damian's hot breath on her back, and turned, leaping back just in time. Damian's jaws closed right where her face had been, spittle dribbling down his jaw and onto her fur. His eyes were blazing mad, almost glowing with how much hate boiled in them. The scent of steel and smoke radiated off his fur, almost slapping her in the face with how pungent it was to her. Saigai almost gagged immediately. Damian went to snap at her again, more drool arching from his jaw.

    Saigai staggered backwards just in time before she turned on her heels, running hard. She kicked up clumps of dew dampened grass, her breath turning frantic. She would never fight anyone due to her being physically weak, and there was no way she would ever fit that beast of a male. Damian gave a low, hysterical chuckle, before he vanished back into the flames to tend to his wound. When Saigai caught up with Jinxx and Zoria, she was close to passing out. Her heart had never beat faster, and she was struggling to catch her breath.

    Jinxx turned to her, his anger now replaced by exhaustion. He seemed to look older, and reached his paw out, touching her cheek.
    Zoria peered closely at Saigai closely, making sure she wasn't hurt. Jinxx was the first to speak. He was worried about her; especially since Saigai was basically a sister to him.

    "Are you okay?"

    Saigai just nodded, unable to process words at the moment, and she shook her head after a while. The ringing in her ears was intense, and she blinked frantically to clear the smoke from them. Ash was raining down on them now, smoke belching from the still active fire behind them. With a sigh of relief, Jinxx gave a gesture with his head. The three joined back in their group, before racing off. While they may have been shook by the experience, that didn't stop them from going to explore for more things to destroy or light on fire, or to just kick up so good ol' trouble and chaos. After all, that was what they were known for.

sorry for the lateness, but I decided rather than close it I'd just announce the winner. Since I had actually forgotten about this until last night when a friend sent me a text about it, anyone who edited their forums yesterday is still okay since the competition didn't officially close then.

Anyway, after reading everyone's forums and getting help from a friend, I've come to a conclusion.
Congratulations to james.!
You're story was heart wrenching and I loved the way you created her and how her history affected her today and I loved that you used some of her family members in your forum to help give a better build to who she is, was, and will be. I know you will take amazing care of my dear girl!

I'd also like to give a runner up to ladylightwing! Your forum was very beautifully crafted and really captured me. Pm me when you have the time and I'll present a few viscets I own to you. You can either ask for a breeding with some or I can give you one directly, it will be up to you!
Here and there, kinda like a ghost now. Still debating quitting but I love my viscets too much to just leave without finding them perfect homes, so I am not sure yet. Please do not ask for one of my remaining viscets out of the blue... Those who aren't going to friends will be placed for public adoption or kept
